Descrição

We are Marco and Giulia, an active Italian couple who have always shared the same passion: traveling! Marco is a building engineer, architect and videomaker; Giulia is an primary school teacher who loves to look at the world with the curiosity of her little students, for whom everything is new, magical and special and has a lot of experience as baby sittern with all aged kids.
We have traveled to more than 50 countries with our backpacks, public transport and hitchhiking, that are the way of transport that we absolutely prefer because we are able to get in touch with the locals, share stories and experiences and learn the beauty and generosity that are in the World.

We started traveling since we met, first with small but intense European on the road (Portugal, Croatia ...), then the first trip to Asia, Thailand, which aroused our curiosity, especially by visiting the North during Loy Kratong, the sacred lantern festival and having been in contact with wonderful elephants in a rescue center. From that each journey became deeper and deeper. 40 days in Indonesia where we understood that our travel style is to backpack and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We also volunteered at a big cat rescue center in South Africa, a wonderful experience that put us in contact with lions and cheetahs, in a country where unfortunately the illegal trade is still strong

Both photography enthusiasts, we always try to capture the best moments and make a video for each trip. Since 2019 we have been coordinators of group travel with whom we coordinated Morocco, Thailand and Cambodia, then the covid ... Not being able to take group travel and wanting to avoid planes due to cancellations, we decided to take a road trip to Europe, up to the North Cape. For the summer of 2021 we had a flight to New Zealand (where we are planning to go this year) but the covid has further modified the plans and we decided last minute to take a flight to Panama and go all over Central America to Mexico by bus and hitchhiking.

In June 2022 we got married and after a few days we left for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, also by hitchhiking and train, where we met the most generous and smiley people in the World. Then we decided to take a flight without return date for the United States.

We have a huge spirit of adaptation, we love contact with nature, local cultures, sunrises and sunsets and wake up every day with a different view. We have the same passions, we love to stay in the nature, take care of animals and discover cultures by living with locals. a lot of wild camping experience and the curiosity to to have new experiences as workawayers!

Quais são suas habilidades?

(Marco) I'm an architect and building engineer, I have DIY skills, love wooden constructions and get my hands dirty. In recent years I have developed a great passion for photogtsphy and videomaking . I invested in quality equipment like cameras, lenses and drone. I have also had experiences in social media, web design and content creator for YouTube and Instageam profiles. Since 2019 I works as Tour Leader and Coordinator for tour operators who organize group trips around the world increasing problem solving and communication experience.

(Giulia) I'm a primary teacher of with many years of experience as a babysitter even with babies. I am an excellent pasta cook (carbonara is my specialty). I am very precise and a perfectionist, I complete every job in the best way. I am also a photographer with experience in landscape, street, portrait and wedding photography. Like Marco, I am a travel coordinator with excellent organizational skills.

We have a license and driving experience on every track (offroad 4x4, sand ...)
