I like to travel on workaway because it gives me a sense of what it is like to be from another place. I also enjoy healthy living/cooking, oil painting, reading and playing music.

My name is Marc, I'm a classical guitar and music theory teacher in Valencia, Spain.

I like to travel but I don’t like to be a tourist.

I like to get to know what it’s like to be from somewhere else through workaways or getting jobs. I’ve been to:

London,UK, working as a food runner at a seafood restaurant and as a summer camp counsellor
Nevada, USA, working as a receptionist at a hostel
Warsaw, Poland working as a freelance web designer and online English teacher
Adama, Ethiopia, volunteering with a social enterprise project
Berlin, Germany, working as a summer camp counsellor
Frankfurt, Germany, working at a festival, manning the cocktail bar and setting up/taking down the festival buildings.

My holidays are in July and August, and I’m looking to find workaways where I can travel to a new place and learn something new..

Before I began working as a teacher, I studied a BSc in Economics with Politics and Philosophy (University of Exeter, UK) and an MSc in Experimental Psychology (Conversion) in Bristol, UK.

I have also been a freelance web designer and content writer for psychotherapists, and later for other industries too (finance, import/export companies, app launches, real estate etc.)

My hobbies include reading and oil painting.
