We, a couple (56 and 52) from the Netherlands. We have diverse skills, love gardening and cooking. We are both (massage) therapists but also have a technical (IT) background. We love children, Marc has 2 now adult daughters.
We eat vegetarian and prefer plant-based. We are fluent in Dutch and English, and speak basic German and French.

I organised an airport pick up for them.
There wasn't time for me to arrange a workaway room for them so I treated them to one of my poolside guest rooms. I believe they really appreciated this, enabling them to practice their Yoga beside the pool.

The work was mostly garden upkeep and DIY. We did painting, electrical work, woodwork and plumbing. Nothing too complicated or demanding. There were good tools, which is rare in The Gambia. There was still plenty to do, much needs repair or normal… read more
