Hey! My name is Madeleine Villeneuve, I'm 18 years old, and I'm from Quebec. Next year, I'll be taking a gap year, and I really want to make the most of it! I speak French, English, and a bit of Spanish. I love playing sports, spending time outdoors, and taking care of children. I also enjoy cooking, reading, meeting new people, and—of course—traveling. I'm always open to trying new things and picking up new hobbies. I consider myself resilient and hard-working. I had the chance to visit Portugal with a friend through Workaway, and I truly loved the experience.
I'm looking forward to new experiences and seeing where this year will take me :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I've worked at a day camp, and I'm also a certified ski and snowboard instructor. I'm a trained lifeguard and have my first aid certification. I’d say I’m a decent cook, and I’m confident in my ability to handle physical work—I’m young, active, and in good shape! Most of my hobbies revolve around sports and spending time outdoors. I’m pretty involved in my community, volunteering at local sports events and participating in various extracurricular activities. I’m not afraid of hard work! This summer, I’ll be working as a waitress in a fairly upscale restaurant. I have some customer service experience, and I genuinely enjoy chatting with people. :)
