Hi. We are Luke and Gina. In February of 2022 I (Luke) quit my job and bought a 1-way ticket out of America without any plan. During 2022 I wwoofed and did workaways in Italy, Croatia, and Romania, along with working in a restaurant in Prague for a couple of months. I met Gina at the first farm I stopped at (and returned to later that year) in Tuscany, where she had been living for 3 years already. since then she's come to visit in America and now we're travelling together and looking for farms to stay at!

Gina is incredibly connected with animals and enjoys working with them as much as possible. She's a native German speaker but is also fluent in English and Italian. She's also more than capable of doing standard farm work and using a variety of tools and equipment.

I myself was a chef for 8 years, starting as a dishwasher and working my way up, so I'm happy to help with the cooking. I also love being outside and working with my hands. I don't know much about gardening but really want to learn more about it! Being connected to where our food comes from is important to me and eventually I want to have a giant garden of my own.

We are both vegan but sometimes a bit flexible. We'd be happy to talk about it if you want to know more but we won't judge you for how you choose to live (:

We're not just tourists looking for a cheap way to travel like others on this platform. We want to be immersed in the culture of where we're travelling and are no strangers to a hard day's work.

Also we both love music and have a guitar with us that we both enjoy playing.

Cooking. I've worked in the food industry for 7 years from dishwasher to sous chef. I'll cook as much as you want me to, although I prefer just helping rather than deciding what to make for lunch/dinner (:
