Hello!
Here is a bit about me…
🖌️ I have worked as a calligrapher and illustrator since 2009. I am well versed in traditional styles such as copperplate, modern hand lettering, and that essential yet disappearing skill of cursive handwriting!
📒I have written two books on calligraphy and illustrated or hand lettered 16 publications.
🍒I am a passionate gardener. I have biodynamic farmer training.
🐝 I love bees! I completed an apprenticeship in biodynamic beekeeping, which was a highlight of my life!
🧁I am a baker (cakes, bars, bagels, bread, pizza).
🥑I can cook vegan & vegetarian food :)
⭐️I have a Waldorf teaching certificate. I love working with children and teenagers. I enjoy leading lettering, drawing and painting classes.
🌈I have a fine arts degree in painting.
💜I am passionate about self development. I am devoted to continually striving to practice Dr. Marshall Rosenberg’s work on non-violent communication.

Simon is an excellent host. The work expectations are clear and workaway hours are followed. I found the jobs relaxing and good for daydreaming!
The school is located in a peaceful and beautiful rural location.
I absolutely loved the town of Westport, it is a lovely town and the people are wonderful :)

The monaghan drumlins and cairns and forts
Welcomed her footsteps
As she set forth
With artful hands and straw coloured hair
Even a bull took time to stare
And now she,s gone we miss her so
May god speed you on your journey wherever you go
He was very considerate with picking out delicious food. The room is very nice!!
I enjoyed very much meeting the neighbours, who are absolutely wonderful!
I learned so much more about Irish history while I was here. The area is beautiful.
