(EN) Hi! We’re Laura and Andrés — two good friends from Costa Rica, both 42 years old.

We’re humble, responsible, and hardworking people with a strong desire to keep learning, help others, and explore the world through meaningful experiences.

Spanish is our native language, and we both speak intermediate English. We can communicate well and are always working to improve.

Who are we?

🔸 Laura has experience in childcare, cleaning, basic gardening, working in hostels, and pet care. She’s empathetic, cheerful, organized, and always ready to help and learn new things.

🔸 Andrés works in agriculture . and construction work, including basic masonry He has plenty of experience with outdoor work, animal care, and farm tasks. He’s active, respectful, and loves nature and teamwork.

What motivates us?

We enjoy meeting new people, discovering different cultures and lifestyles, and working together as a team. We value simplicity, human connection, and the opportunity to learn by doing. We’re always grateful and happy to give back with a positive attitude and commitment.

What are we looking for?

We’re open to all types of hosts — farms, families, hostels, ecological projects, rural communities, or creative spaces. We adapt easily and are happy to help wherever needed.

(ESP). ¡Hola! Somos Laura y Andrés, dos buenos amigos de Costa Rica, ambos de 42 años.

Somos personas humildes, responsables y trabajadoras, con muchas ganas de seguir aprendiendo, ayudar a los demás y descubrir el mundo a través de nuevas experiencias.

El español es nuestra lengua materna y tenemos un nivel intermedio de inglés. Nos comunicamos bien y seguimos practicando cada día.

¿Quiénes somos?

🔸 Laura tiene experiencia en el cuidado de niños, limpieza, jardinería básica, apoyo en hostales y cuidado de mascotas. Es una persona empática, alegre, organizada y siempre dispuesta a colaborar y aprender cosas nuevas.

🔸 Andrés trabaja en agricultura en Costa Rica. Tiene amplia experiencia en labores del campo, cuidado de animales, trabajo físico y al aire libre. Es una persona activa, respetuosa y con mucho amor por la naturaleza y el trabajo en equipo.

¿Qué nos motiva?

Nos encanta conocer nuevas culturas, formas de vida, personas y lugares. Valoramos la simplicidad, la conexión humana y la oportunidad de aprender haciendo. Somos muy agradecidos y nos gusta retribuir con energía positiva, compromiso y una sonrisa.

¿Qué tipo de proyectos buscamos?

Estamos abiertos a todo tipo de anfitriones: granjas, familias, hostales, proyectos ecológicos, comunidades rurales o espacios creativos. Nos adaptamos fácilmente y nos gusta colaborar en lo que se necesite.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are a friendly and hardworking duo with diverse experience and a positive attitude.

I (Laura) have experience in childcare, general cleaning, basic gardening, hostel help, and pet care. I worked for many years in customer service, so I’m used to being responsible, friendly, and solving problems with a smile. I enjoy working with children and animals and I’m always happy to help with daily household tasks like laundry, organizing, or preparing simple meals. I learn quickly, I adapt easily, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.

Andrés has strong experience in agriculture and animal care, and he enjoys helping people in any way he can. He is reliable, hard-working, and very respectful. He’s used to working outdoors, doing physical tasks, and supporting with general maintenance, gardening, or farm work.

We are both responsible, respectful, and always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. We work well independently and as part of a team. We love learning new things, connecting with people, and supporting meaningful projects with a positive attitude.

Like every human being, we’re not perfect—and we each have our own personalities. For example, Laura can be a bit quiet and serious at first… people often say they thought she was grumpy just because of her face 😅 —but once they get to know her, they realize she’s warm, kind, and full of good energy. She also enjoys spending time on her own, but loves sharing meaningful moments with others.

Andrés is calm, respectful, and always ready to help. He’s the type of person who doesn’t talk much at first, but shows who he is through actions. He enjoys peaceful environments, nature, and having deep, real conversations.

We’re both very emotional and sensitive people 😭, and we don’t tolerate cruelty or any kind of discrimination. We believe in kindness, equality, and mutual respect. Communication is important to us, so we try to express our emotions openly and honestly.
We truly hope to connect with people along the way, share cultures, and learn together. A couple of souls from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 will be happy to lend you a hand whenever you need it.
