Hello everybody
We are a Swiss couple and both teachers. We are currently on our Europe trip. Our companion Henry (the campervan) is our little baby, we built it over the last two years.
We are both outdoor-lovers, friendly, out-going and love to get to know new faces and places.
Looking forward to seeing Europe at its best and this is why we'd like to use workaway :-)

We are both teachers, but I, Laura, am actually teaching languages (German, English and French). Patrick is able to speak well, but no experience in teaching languages (he does the science part).

We are both teachers and we both love being outside, spend time with outdoor activities, sport and books. These are our main interests and luckily, we share them all :-).
We are also building a campervan, which gives us a little bit knowledge in handcraft work.

Laura and Patrick have spent two weeks with us and have made a great difference. Laura did a great job keeping the kitchen and dining room areas clean and tidy, and Patrick helped us with some more physically demanding work, but we made sure to give him more rest time as compensation. After two weeks on the farm we could write a book about all the different work we‘ve done and what we‘ve learnt. A special thanks to Andrei and Matei who were extremely patient and helpful teachers on the field and this made us feel welcome and needed.

Laura was a perfect volunteer! She did everything that was asked of her with a smile and often did more than we expected. We are a bit of a dynamic environment and she was able to go with the flow. She kept the spaces so clean we didn't want to let her go. I would highly recommend Laura for any volunteer position.

This school is very special and so was my experience. I spent 2 weeks there and most of the time consisted of being with the kids in the park (their free time). The schedule was the same every day: 12.30-17.30. There were times where my task was unclear to me but I also realised that a lot there is very free from a strict structure what we know… read more

Physically the toughest, but the most beautiful, loveliest and most generous workaway experience we've had so far. Birgit and Gal have both a very warm nature and we felt like friends immediately. They cook the best food and always care about your well-being.

Our time at Danieles and Alessandras lovely campsite was wonderful. We felt like home and we could bring our own ideas and work on them. They are very easy-going, friendly and their humor is great.
Even if the surrounding area has not much to see, the campsite offers enough to never be bored, including their animals. Grazie mille!

Patrick and Laura are super duper the best, they have good chemistry between them and work well together. They are eager to see learn and explore new things so they really are open minded. They are handy and everything became sparkling around them and they make good food 👏👏❤️

Dougie is such a sociable and adventurous guy. He always made sure we are happy and having fun and we felt very welcome. The tasks were easy and we often had a chill and enjoyed a cup of tea. The best Workaway I have hosted yet! They were very hard working, kept everything tidy and had good skills for my project. We had a love out time hanging out and both had great chats and positive vibes!
