My name is Lumina Fröhlich, I am 20 years old and come from Switzerland.

I am very interested in art and different cultures. For years I have always known that I want to become a middle school teacher because I truly enjoy spending time with children. I have years of experience in babysitting; I have been in the same family for 3 years now, supporting them regulary. Looking after children and helping them with their daily routines sounds like a role that fits my skills very well. I enjoy spending time with kids, especially being outdoors and doing creative things with them.

I would describe myself as reliable, kind, and proactive. Creating a safe and comfortable environment for children is very important to me. I am happy to help with daily routines, playtime, outdoor activities, and light household tasks.

Love for nature, travel, and outdoor activities really resonate with me. Iceland’s culture and unique natural environment have always fascinated me, and I would be honored to experience daily life there while becoming a trusted and supportive member of a family.

Regarding timing, I am available from mid-June or July 2026 onwards. A sty between 3 to 6 months would be ideal to me, but I am always open to discuss the timing openly. I am currently in my final year at FMS, a school that prepares students for studying pedagogy. After my gap year as an au pair, I plan to continue my education in this field, which I am very excited about.

I speak German and English (and basic French) and am eager to further improve my language skills and learn about Icelandic culture. I would love the opportunity to get to know you better in a video call or conversation.

I love being outdoors and being active, which makes iceland’s nature especially exciting for me. I enjoy sports like climbing, walks in nature, and exploring new places, but also calm and creative activities like crafts, drawing, and interesting conversations and calm times at home.
