Konstantinos:
My name is Konstantinos (Konstantis), 25 years old. I was originally born in Greece and lived in a city between mountain and sea. Over the years, I came to love being 'out there' and thrive on adventure. I love hiking, camping, distance running in the mountains, and travelling. One of my greatest passions is reading books, especially poetry and philosophy.
Although I finished my studies and worked for a bit as a physiotherapist in Greece, my passion for human behavior and neuroscience led me to the Netherlands in 2021. Currently, I am going through the third year of my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience in the university of Maastricht. At the same time, I am working part-time as a fitness instructor in the University Sports Center and I tutor small groups of first and second-year psychology students in courses like Social Behavior, Psychopathology, and Consciousness as an academic tutor.
As the final year of my second degree is coming to a closure, and having worked quite a lot the past three years, I have become reminiscent of years close to mountains, ocean and natural landscapes. Although the academic life and work has been educating, resourceful and teaching, real contact with nature and 'hand-on' experience has been lacking. With courage, and frankly, fear and hesitation, I have decided to move on from the Netherlands and come in contact with the mountains I am so in love with.
I love human communication as much as I enjoy solitude, thus I wouldn't be able to classify myself as introvert or extrovert. I enjoy the company of individuals who make me feel grounded, vulnerable and authentic. In general, I can be quite organized and disciplined when things need to be done. I have worked with a variety of teams in volunteering projects in the past as well.
I am looking to get hands-on experience in various crafts (e.g., construction), sustainability projects, farming, taking care of animals and nature, and of course, to meet people from all over the world. After spending many years in nature, I came to respect and be in alignment with it. There are so many lessons to be learned from and so many things to 'give back'.One of my long-term plans is to move close to the mountains, thus I am interested in being a workawayer in similar landscapes.
I would be highly interested for language and cultural exchange. Additionally, I have been practicing meditation (recently connected with the Plum Village Tradition in the south of France), yoga and breathwork for quite a few years now. It would be my pleasure to share moments, knowledge and experience around these practices. Lastly, I have been playing the hangdrum for half a year now and it has taken on a whole new journey of discovery. Musical sharing and co-creating is always welcomed in my heart!
I am looking forward to meet you and share experiences!
Charlotte:
Hi there, I'm Charlotte aka Chacha! I'm a 24-year-old little being wandering around as life goes on. I believe I am a friendly and positive person who is always eager to explore new sides of life. It's important to know that I have a great fondness for animals... Any kind really, I find them fascinating. My relatives usually describe me as a social butterfly who has a lot of energy. I am open-minded, social, and energetic. I’m someone who thrives in lively, social environments, always eager to connect and share positive vibes.
Sports have been a big part of my life from a young age, and I’ve always enjoyed the sense of community and teamwork that comes with being active. Whether it’s volleyball, tennis, or dance, I’ve dipped my toes into many sports and love challenging myself. Travelling is another passion of mine; there’s nothing quite like being immersed in new cultures and connecting with people from all over the world. I’m a firm believer that the best stories are often found on the road, and I’m always ready for the next adventure.
As for my expertise, I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Digitalisation from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where I explored the transformative power of technology across various sectors, from art to politics, economics, and beyond. My studies have given me a unique perspective on how digital tools are shaping our world, and I’m always eager to discuss how these changes affect society on both a macro and micro levels.
Before diving into a master's program, I wanted to take some time to pause, reflect, and explore what life has to offer. This space allows me to discover new experiences, focus on personal growth, and gain a clearer understanding of what excites me for the future, both professionally and personally.
I’m excited for the journey ahead and can’t wait to share new adventures with you!Interesses

Konstantinos:
During my university years in Greece, I studied physiotherapy, whereby I received knowledge and practical skills on training and rehabilitation. In addition, I took a course on personal training for a year where I dived into matters of training, exercise, and nutrition for athletes and general population. Apart from mountain running and hiking, my passion for movement and art led me to experiment with various disciplines such as yoga, tai chi, capoeira, music and lots of play improvisation! It would be my pleasure to share my experience and connect with others movers!!
In addition, I've worked in a kids summer camp for multiple years. At these times, I had the privilege to work with multicultural teams to prepare projects and trips, activities etc. for children ages 10-12. It was really wholesome and valualbe experience for me.
I am also a graduate psychologist, so my daily curriculum in university included courses like neuroanatomy, psychopathology, complex cognition, personality and individual differences etc. Additionally, I worked as an academic tutor for similar courses for small groups with the Problem-Based Learning method. I am really fascinated about the brain and behavior and I would be more than happy to share what I have learned with others.
Lastly, throughout the past workaway experiences (Italy and Portugal) I learned new skills including woodchopping for the winter, gardening (weeding, fertilising), roof rennovation and insulation (beginner), landscaping, cooking family meals..
Charlotte:
During my studies, I’ve picked up some handy tools, including Web Design (still needs some more practice, but definitely useful!) and gained a solid understanding of social media strategies. These skills allow me to work on creative and digital projects and contribute to the online presence of various initiatives.
Additionally, through various Workaway experiences, I’ve learned practical techniques in gardening, construction, and animal care, among other things. These hands-on experiences have taught me the value of hard work and the importance of adapting to different environments while developing new, transferable skills.
I always played some sort of sports throughout my life therefore I would say I am athletic in a way that I can handle "effort". I’ve also had a variety of jobs, including working as a waitress, babysitter, in factories, at supermarkets, and as a cleaner. Each role taught me how to adapt quickly and apply my skills in different environments, which has made me a versatile and resourceful worker.
Additionally, I was a scout for many years, where I learned a bunch of practical survival skills that definitely come in handy when you're out in the wild!Idade
