Hi! We are Caoilinn and Eoin, a couple from beautiful Ireland. We are both 23 years old and have recently finished university so we are travelling from June to January before starting our full time work.

Growing up in Ireland, we have been surrounded by rolling hills and dramatic coastlines. We are drawn to Asia for the vibrant colours, ancient traditions and fragrant foods. We are travelling to parts of Asia and Southeast Asia to experience different cultures and meet new people. We are especially excited about the cuisines along the way!

We are both experienced travellers and while we are new to Workaway we are happy to trade our skills to have a more meaningful experience than just seeing the tourist sites. We prefer to be in nature, exploring places that many people will never see but we will also visit some big cities. We hope that by doing workaways and staying with local communities that we will get a sense of authentic life in the places we visit, and hopefully make a difference to people we meet along the way.

We are both active individuals with our hobbies being primarily cycling and hiking. We love being outdoors and being from Ireland a little rain doesn’t affect us much!

Caoilinn studied pharmacology and has worked in community pharmacies throughout the degree, teaching the value of caring for people’s health and wellbeing. Eoin studied horticultural science, completing a work placement in a plant nursery, both growing and selling plants, as well as garden landscaping. We were both active members of large university sports clubs having roles on committees. Eoin was responsible for organising events for the cycling club and Caoilinn was public relations officer/ social media for the mountaineering club.

What we bring to your project

Eoin

· Horticulture & Landscaping: Degree-level knowledge in plant science, propagation, nursery management, pruning, and soil conditioning. Experienced in both ornamental garden design and practical edible-plant growing.
· Landscape Maintenance: Capable of outdoor work—mowing, weeding, mulching, path-laying, and general grounds-keeping.
· Bike Mechanic: Bicycle maintenance (brakes, gears, chain replacements, puncture repairs, and tune-ups). Perfect for hostels or tour operators renting out cycles.

Caoilinn

· Social Media & Content Creation: Experienced PR & Social Media Officer. I can manage Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—creating engaging posts, taking quality photos/videos, writing captions, and responding to guest enquiries to boost your bookings.
· Guest Relations & Admin: Friendly, professional, and well-organized. Happy to help with check-ins, email correspondence, and managing online reviews/booking platforms.
· Childminding & Pet Sitting: Responsible, patient, and nurturing—comfortable looking after children or caring for animals (feeding, walking, and giving them attention) with previous experience in both.
· Driving License: Full license for automatic vehicles. I’m happy to run errands, or give lifts if you have an automatic car available!

· Native English Speakers: Fluent, clear, and highly articulate—great for communicating with international guests or helping with English-language marketing.
· Event & Team Logistics: Experience running large university sports club committees—meaning we excel at organisation, teamwork, solving problems, and sticking to a schedule.
· Weather-Proof & Physically Fit: We are active cyclists and hikers. We are comfortable with outdoor manual labour not afraid to get our hands dirty—the Irish rain has trained us well!
