Hey there :) here's a little bit about me:

I love dancing, reading and listening to music but my favorite hobby is traveling the world, exploring places and cultures and meeting people.

I'm a trained special education teacher and social worker from Germany with a broad background in education, social work, and therapeutic fields. Over the past years, I've worked in various roles – from early childhood intervention and special needs education to experiential education and family support. Currently, I'm continuing my education to become a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy. Lifelong learning is very important to me – I’m always looking for new ways to grow personally and professionally.

A big part of my journey was spending one year in the U.S. as an Au Pair, where I lived with a family, took care two children, and experienced American culture up close. This time definitely sparked my love for travel and connection across cultures.

I love adventure and am always up for a challenge – whether it's hiking a mountain, trying a new sport and / or stepping out of my comfort zone. I've travelled quite a bit already and I take every opportunity to explore nature or discover remote, lesser-known places whenever I have time off.

Working with people from all walks of life has always been at the heart of what I do – whether it's supporting children with disabilities, guiding teenagers through challenges, or simply lending a helping hand where it's needed. I’m curious, open-minded, reliable, and love learning from different cultures and lifestyles.

I’m looking forward to exchanging skills, sharing stories, and contributing in a meaningful way during my Workaway journey!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a Master’s degree in Special Education. I've spent the last years working in educational and therapeutic settings, most recently in youth welfare services with high-risk clients. These experiences have shaped me into a calm, reliable, and empathetic person who enjoys supporting others and facing challenges with a positive attitude.

I’m someone who loves learning new things and believes that personal growth is a lifelong journey. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone, getting involved hands-on, and contributing wherever help is needed. At the same time, I value balance – spending time in nature, enjoying a good book, and having moments of quiet reflection are just as important to me.

I'm open-minded, curious, and always up for meaningful cultural exchange. Whether it's working with people, helping around the house or garden, or learning a new skill – I’m motivated, respectful, and happy to be part of a team or take initiative when needed.
