We are Karina and Raphael, a couple from Perth, Australia. We have been together for 12 years and have travelled a lot together. A year ago we spent a year travelling and did Workaways in Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and Canada. All have been unforgettable experiences.

We began training at the gym together, and now enjoy many different activities to improve our minds and bodies. We train regularly, run, hike, swim and love spending time outdoors. Eating healthy, tasty and more sustainable foods has been a growing passion.

At home we meet up with friends regularly to play board games, have a beautiful adopted cat and hope to spend some time with other animals while we travel.

Karina -I am a personal trainer, online coach and nutritionist. I have previously worked selling cheese, gelato and travel, so I have always had an interest in the world and its foods. I work on my own business while we travel but have plenty of time for my Workaway tasks . I love learning what makes every place unique and sharing a laugh with everyone I meet. I love cooking, and as a nutritionist can provide healthy balanced meals for any diet preference.

Raphael - I was originally born in Switzerland and have lived most of my life in Perth, Australia (Swiss/Australian Dual Citizenship). I am passionate about sustainability and travel and have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Graduate Certificate of Renewable Energy Technologies. I really enjoy working with my hands and have recently been learning more about Gardening, Permaculture, Woodwork, Tree Planting and Farming.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Karina - I am a fitness coach and nutritionist. I studied Italian and computer science at university. Running 2 of my own businesses I am quite good at managing websites and all of the content design that goes into them. My art skills are quite abstract but I enjoy all art projects. I am good at cooking simple delicious food. Excellent cat patting skills.

Raphael - I am a qualified Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Renewable Energy and Sustainability. I enjoy working with my hands and am interested in developing my skills in gardening, farming, permaculture and natural building. I play guitar with around 10 years of experience and enjoy learning new instruments. I also have experience in Solar, Air Conditioning and 3D Design.
