We are Mark and Juliette, from Europe :)
Mark is 31 and Irish and Juliette is 25 and French.
We met in 3.5years ago in Ireland when Juliette was an AuPair.
We lived and worked in Ireland, travelled in Scotland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sydney... and we are and will be still on the road!
We spent a year in New Zealand (March 2023-April 2024) on Working Holiday Visas and we loved it! We worked in restaurants, hotels, cafes to be able to hike and discover as much as we could of the country. We also spent 2 months in a van which was a magical experience!
We will now move to Canada with the same plan and desire to explore!

*Mark
-Has worked in hospitality for 15 years (barista, barman, waiter, manager, supervisor) in cafes, restaurants, hotels
-Works out regularly so able to lift heavy things, willing to help in the garden and in general outdoor hand-on activities
-Has worked 6 months in a dog day and night care and he loved it! He took care of all sort of dogs (feeding, cleaning, training, playing with...)
*Juliette
-Has studied foreign languages (English and Spanish), child minding and social work and has worked for 2 years in the service industry (waitressing)
-Knows how to play the piano, how to collect grapes, how to ride horses... and did Workaway in Norway and Scotland (farming)
-Has lived with cats and dogs :)
Together we were Workawayers in Ireland in a small farm/AirBnB.
We also did dogsitting in Sydney (2 female labradors).

Juliette has stopped eating meat since she was 17 but she is willing to adapt to the Workaway hosts' way of life and did it previously while volunteering.

I've learnt so many things at Matt and Jenny's side and also with the other volunteers (we were a perfect french team !) :) Sowing and planting vegetables, turning a boat into an house's roof, cooking (more than just rice for me :-P), running after sheep, discovering the welsh… read more
