Until now I’ve followed a path that would ensure that I will live comfortably in the future, I’ve graduated with a Bachelor of Laws specializing in environmental law and worked in a lawyer’s office for consumer rights and changed for a position as an Associate in corporate service. After doing that for a while I’ve quit the job and want to follow what I really want to do wholeheartedly. I tried to not cause any worries for my parents, but it’s time to just do what really makes me happy and what will open new doors for me. In the end my happiness will be their happiness and life is too short to be too afraid to just jump into the unknown.

It might have been not the right decision now, but that just means that I’ll have to try my best to make it to be the right decision.

I’m native in German and basically in English. My parents are from Vietnam, which makes me able to speak it but not read it. I had my exchange semester in South Korea and started to learn Korean, which I can read and write. Speaking and fully understanding it is another topic. I’ve started to teach myself Japanese and also visited some beginner classes here in Germany. I’ve mastered Hiragana, Katakana and I’m now learning Kanji characters. I’d love to learn Japanese more, especially the grammar. In school I had French and Spanish classes, both which I can still mostly read and understand.

Quais são suas habilidades?

In regard of my professional work skills I’m very knowledgeable about German civil and company law. I’ve worked for only international clients and experienced different working cultures. I’ve also worked in several different gastronomic establishments, which makes me capable to adjust very quickly in order to meet the customers or clients needs.

On a personal level I’m more of a creative person. I’m not necessarily talented in handcraft but I paint a lot with acrylic and do drawings with ink even more. Especially portraits.
I also like to take pictures with either my digital or analogue camera.
I have some knowledge and experience in regard of renovating an apartment or house, as I supported all of my friends with their projects.

I have taken care of children since I was 9 years old myself in order to support my family, so I’m very used with handling children. In the past I had to adjust my schedule to take care of my younger brother e.g. bringing him to Kindergarten, picking him up from school, making meals and organizing his other activities. Although, it took much of my own free time, I’ve enjoyed taking a major role in the development of my brother and seeing him age to a fine person. It shows me that I had a very positive effect on someone else’s life which is very rewarding.

Other than that I also have experience in teaching the German language. I gave private tutoring for two children during their elementary school and the first year of their middle school. Besides German, I’ve also supported them in other classes and homework.

Generally, I’m very open for anything and very eager to learn new things.

I love playing Boardgames, such as Wizard or Catan. I also own some consoles like a Nintendo Switch and a PlayStation 5. My favourite video games are Kingdom Hearts, Pokémon and Mario Kart. But I also very much enjoy online party games with my friends.

I also love reading books and manga as well as watching series and movies. I’m a big fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion, One Piece and Pride and Prejudice.
In terms of media, I’m also collecting vinyl’s and particularly those of my favourite pianist are my most beloved. I play the piano myself and also own an E-Piano, but I’m self taught and can’t read music sheets very well.

Baking is also something I enjoy. The things I cook the best are either Korean or Japanese dishes.
