Hello!
My name is Jeffrey and I have been doing Workaway for several years here in Mexico.
I am originally from New York City and have lots of professional experience in hotels, customer service, the arts, human resources.
I am very hands-on with gardening, pruning, building things, and have a very upbeat friendly attitude towards life.
My home base is in Jalisco, and recently my 21 year old son (Juanpa) decided to join me on my adventures.
Juanpa has experience doing bathroom and kitchen tilework, and I am experienced in carpentry, tree pruning, and gardening.
I speak fluent French, Spanish and Italian, and have excellent writing skills in English.
We travel with our fantastically well-mannered 7-kilo dog, Fila, who is a Beagle/King Charles Spaniel mix.
In recent years, in addition to Workaway, I have periodically done house sitting, sometimes in very fancy places like San Miguel de Allende.
It is only in recent days (early June, 2025) that Juanpa and I only just now.decided to seek a Workaway adventure together.

Me llamo Jeffrey y he estado haciendo Workaway durante varios años aquí en México.
Mi base está en Jalisco, y recientemente mi hijo de 21 años decidió unirse a mis aventuras.
Juanpa tiene experiencia colocando azulejos en baños y cocinas, y yo tengo experiencia en carpintería, poda de árboles y jardinería.
Viajamos con nuestra perrita Fila, una mezcla de Beagle y Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, que pesa 7 kilos y tiene un comportamiento excepcional.
En los últimos años, además de Workaway, también he hecho cuidado de casas de manera ocasional, a veces en lugares muy elegantes como San Miguel de Allende.
Apenas en estos últimos días (principios de junio de 2025) fue que Juanpa y yo decidimos buscar una aventura de Workaway juntos.
