Hi there, my name is Jacob and I am a solo traveler from Australia. I've been on the road since August 2022 and am looking for volunteer work in Europe.

My passion in life is travel and helping others who share my passions, I have stayed in over 100 hostels on 4 continents and am currently volunteering in a hostel in Bosnia so I know what is expected, both as staff and as a guest.

I love meeting people from all over the world and from all walks of life to share insights and experiences. I also have a passion for cooking and especially love sharing what I've made with the people around me

A little about my work experience; I've worked in hospitality for a total of 8 years in bars and restaurants as a bartender, cook and waiter. I am also a qualified Mechanical Engineer with 3 years of experience in that field. I also have experience in maintenance and am good at working with my hands.

I have a good grasp of general home and mechanical maintenance coming from my 3 years of experience in manufacturing as an engineer.

I also have skills in the hospitality industry, including; cleaning, serving customers, working in bars and mixing drinks.
