Hi my name is Ivor, I’m a 24 year old literature graduate living in Kent. Having finished university I want to gain a wider experience of the world and meet a broad range of new people before I seek fulltime employment or further study and workaway seems like the perfect opportunity to do just that.

I am eager to work somewhere with a rich cultural history, especially with literary ties that I can explore during my travels. I would also enjoy the opportunity to meet a combination of local people and other travellers like myself in order to forge friendships with people all over the world.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a native English speaker having grown up in the UK and I studied American literature with Creative writing at the university of East Anglia, graduating with first class honours.
I am well read, especially in English and Russian literature and I practice creative writing in my spare time.
I have several years of kitchen experience as both a cook and as a kitchen porter so I am used to quick stressful working conditions.
I also have customer facing experience having worked previously as a bartender/ waiter and from my current role working in a bookshop.
I am currently learning German at a beginner level which has given me some experience with foreign languages which I hope to develop further as I explore the world.
