Hi!
We are Isabella and Riccardo, 24 and 28 years old from Italy.
We are sunny and very friendly, love to be in contact with others and create new friendships. We adapt easily to any situation and condition.
Our last working experience was in Lapland during winter. Here we worked at low temperatures (even -30 degrees) driving sleds and caring for huskies and guests of the husky farm.

ISABELLA
I have already used work away to work in 2022 in southern Finland on a ranch, where I helped with restoration work and helped in the vegetable garden, and with household chores.
I am a very creative person who likes to work manually. I have some basic knowledge of woodworking. I studied for 5 years in an art school, so if you want to learn to paint or do some art projects, you can count on me! :-)
I am a very open-minded person and ready to learn new traditions. Traveling for me represents not only a way to see new places but more importantly an opportunity for personal growth and sharing experiences with other people.

RICCARDO
I am fond of animals, and nature and I am looking for wild and peaceful experiences.
I worked with many varieties of animals, and I have a bachelor's degree in Natural Science and a Master's degree in Environmental Biology, so I could share my little knowledge of these topics if you are interested in it :)
I also love to cook classic Italian recipes and try new ones, and I am delighted if you want to share with me your cooking skills
This is my first experience with Workaway, I can't wait to do it!

Quais são suas habilidades?

ISABELLA

I am a person who loves manual labor. I studied for 5 years at art school where I learned to paint with various techniques and work with clay. In my spare time, I studied photography, I like to use photography as an artistic medium and take pictures of people and landscapes.
I work with wood using pyrography, and I participate in craft markets where I sell my wooden creations.
I learned sewing and fabric restoration. I know how to use a sewing machine, so if you need to sew up socks, count me in! :-P
For the past year, I have been working on a husky farm in Lapland, where I learned how to drive sleds take care of huskies, and take care of clients visiting the farm. I also worked in a guest house in Lapland where I did guest reception and room cleaning. I was social media manager at this husky farm and took care of the farm's Instagram profile.
I love working in the garden and taking care of the plants.

RICCARDO

I always worked with different kinds of animals in zoos, wildlife rescue centers, or private breeders (parrots, raptors, reptiles, dogs, cats, courtyard animals, and wild fauna), taking care of and training them.
I worked in a pizzeria and love to spend my time in the kitchen cooking new recipes, also healthy food or vegetarian, but not only.
My last experience was on a Husky farm in Northern Finland, where I worked with dogs, sleds, and many clients every day, drove snowmobile and ATV, all of this for several hours in a row at really low temperatures.
I can say my physique is strong and efficient condition :D

Some more info about me...I like walking in the mountains and being in contact with nature. I love horses and taking long walks with them in the woods. I am a lover of fantasy atmospheres and I read a lot of books...I worked in a bookstore so if you like to read we can exchange reading tips!!!
