Greetings from the picturesque countryside of Germany!
My name is Isabelle, and I embarked on my Workaway journey in 2022 alongside my close friend Lisa. Together, we had the privilege of traveling the world, creating unforgettable memories and forging lasting friendships.
While Lisa has since returned to her office career.
I work part time and on my own business. Time to time I can travel and work remote.
Now I plan a trip with my partner Johannes to Patagonia in febuary 2025!
... Once bitten by the travel bug, it's hard to resist the call of the road!
I am passionate about immersing myself in different cultures, connecting with people, and experiencing local culinary traditions. I also hold a strong interest in alternative living concepts, particularly domes, earthships, and tiny houses. Yoga and spending time in nature are essential parts of my routine, and I take great pleasure in preparing wholesome meals for others. I love to cook and bake, and I'm always excited to try new international dishes.
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including hiking, swimming, stand-up paddling, kayaking, photography (occasionally with my cute mini drone), and painting. I am also a communicative person who loves trying new things—whether it’s living with nuns or practicing Thai boxing, I’m always open to new experiences. I particularly look forward to learning new skills and working alongside people and animals.
As a generalist, I am capable of assisting with a wide range of tasks and am always eager to expand my skill set. Professionally, I am a project manager and AI trainer.
Since I just mentioned my incredible partner, Johannes, let me tell you a bit more about him. He’s exceptionally skilled with his hands—if he can’t fix something, it might as well be beyond repair! This is his first time on Workaway, and I’m sure he’ll love it. His most adventurous journey was cycling around Cuba. He’s into hiking, climbing, and all things technical. ;)
We love working with animals and find great joy in rural living. However, I also appreciate the calm of urban environments, where one can step out and be greeted by friendly faces.
