Hola!!
We are Hella & Dave, a couple from Germany, backpacking and enjoying life at and in the moment. "Young" and dynamic always looking for an adventure, but also enjoying silence and peace in nature.
Sometimes its good to break the circle of being on the move and enjoy a bit of routine but most importantly connect with local people and culture, nature and learn new skills.
We already connected with a lot of locals and we think its the best thing that can happen while traveling. The experience is always unique and something we looking for in every country.
In workaway we found a possibility to combine a few things that are important for us as sharing skills and knowledge, creating memories and share a good story.
That's why we are here.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We were both working as professionals in a decent sized hotel in Germany.
Me (David) at the Front Office
Hella in Food & Beverage
Both in management positions. So we maintain skills like: working with booking systems, MS office, organizing, social skills and we both are fluent in 3 languages.

Hella is great with social media, animals (especially dogs) and is definitely the organisation master.
David was traveling before and have done a lot of labour work (beekeeping, gardening, carpeting and more), so not new to tools like chainsaw, drills, hammer and more.

Rather than that we really love cooking! That's one of many skills we we share and its the essence of being a good state of mind, happy and especially its one of the best ways to connect to people, their traditions and philosophy.
Another approach is to use art. We chose the art of photography. Fairly new to it but substantially growing with knowledge. That's an another method to share experience, memories and stories together. Or create new ones, are you ready for that?

Rather than that we are very connected to nature as we are trying to explore and get new knowledge about plants and birds of the localities. We have done our diving license and the ocean opened for us new perspective and we are eager to learn more about it.

We are an outdoor couple with all the hobbies around it like rock climbing, hiking, snorkelling, diving, skiing and many more. Yeah, we like all the sports around nature and always learning new stuff.
Other than that Hella is into wine (she is a sommelier) and reads a lot of books.
Dave is a passionate bedroom DJ with a fair number of gigs.
I think face to face is the best way to tell you more about us you know a lot already.
