I am happiest when I am in nature. I love the mountains - they give me energy and deep joy. Writing, sharing life in community, and living the beauty of simple moments truly make me happy.

Descrição

I am a mom of two adventurous boys (5 and 8 years old), and I have realized how quickly time flies in the busyness of everyday life. We are taking time out to explore the world together - to meet inspiring people, lend a helping hand, and learn along the way. We believe in working with and for others, doing something meaningful, and finding joy in every moment. We are excited to share our energy, kindness, and curiosity, and to create beautiful memories while giving something back to this amazing planet.

We are a nature-loving family and try to live as non-digital (for example no television, Marius still has no smartphone) as possible. We love being outdoors, collecting and enjoying all kind of seasonal herbs, mushrooms, berries, preparing herbal teas and using plants for natural healing. We believe in nourishing our bodies with healthy, seasonal and regional food, and we try to avoid sugar whenever we can. We do save wasted food.

I fast twice a year and believe in its cleansing effect on my body.

Hobbies: Hockey, Ice bathing, Singing, Writing, Painting, Forest, Hicking, Friends and Family

My boys love being outside and spending time in nature. They do whittling, collecting stones and wood, and watching animals for hours. They can make a fire on their own safely and feel comfortable finding their way around outside.

A respectful way of living together in a community is essential for us.

What can I add to your community?
I have a driver licence, I have high organisational talent, I am reliable and not afraid of hard work, I am eager to learn new things, I am not untalented in hand crafting (I always repair my bikes on my own 😊), I love all kinds of work in the garden, I love cooking and people enjoy eating the meal, I am a real team player and love working in a community.

My job profession?
I am a medical engineer working on projects that aim to support people in need. Started with biomecanics to improve knee joint stability, over enabling worlwide fetal cardiac MRI and supporting now a start-up company to show that right positioning on preterm babies is mandatory for a physiological brain development. Project management is where I feel most at home professionally.

What else to say?

- I do ice bathing regularly and am impressed and inspired of the energy that this experience fills my day with.
- I do paintings when the moment and surrounding feels right. Then it simply comes out of me whitout any thinking.
