Hello! I'm Harvey. I love to travel, it has taught me a lot about myself and the wider world.
I'm active, I gym, run, hike, play tennis regularly and enjoy any kind of game. I also appreciate quieter time with a book (/ kindle) or a chess set.
In work i'm most motivated doing construction and manual jobs. I've worked in renovations doing a whole range of stuff [Carpentry, Painting, Plastering, Interior/Exterior Repairs, landscaping]. For me, nothing beats the feeling of being proud of a good days' work. I find that the tougher it is, the more rewarding!
Since coming back from my last trip (C America) I've applied to be an officer in the Royal Engineers. I'm looking to help out on some cool projects while my application (~9 months) progresses.

I have great experience in jobs such as carpentry, painting, plastering and general interior/exterior repairs. I've worked in renovations before.
I also have good experience gardening doing tasks like cutting grass & hedges, putting up fences, removing tree roots, using garden power tools, removing weeds or debris, repairing stone walls and digging trenches. -

This would be my fourth work away. The first in Izmit, Turkey working on an organic farm for 2 months.
My second was in Tonila, Mexico working on a sustainable eco-lodge. Mostly physical labouring and woodwork/carpentry.
Then my third was in Campeche, Mexico. Building cabins on the most beautiful and remote beach for/with Sean.
I am eager to meet new people to learn from their stories and experiences. -
