Hello! We are Giada and Matteo, a couple from Northern Italy eager to engage in a language exchange in Japan. We’re excited to help out with any tasks or chores you might need and look forward to this amazing experience!


Hi! My name is Matteo, I’m 22 and I’m from Italy.
I recently finished my studies in Intercultural Communication and I’m interested in spending some time abroad to improve my language skills and experience everyday life in a different cultural context.
I’m a calm and respectful person, independent and comfortable both with shared moments and with quiet time.
I enjoy talking, playing board games or role-playing games, and doing simple activities together, but I also value rest and personal space.
I appreciate clear communication and mutual respect, and when I commit to a task, I take it seriously and can be relied on.
I’m looking for a simple and genuine exchange where I can contribute in a concrete way and learn from the experience.


Hey! My name is Giada, I'm 24 years old. I recently graduated university with a specialization in Japanese language and culture.
I see myself as an introspective and reflective person, I am also lively and energetic depending on the moment and the context.
I appreciate both moments of conviviality and moments of solitude and when I commit to something I follow through seriously. I am also really curious: I enjoy learning and understanding new things.
I like organizing, whether trips or work, and finding practical solutions to problems. While traveling, I would like to be helpful by offering language exchange and practical support with daily tasks.
For me, communication is key to living well together: I believe that speaking clearly and respectfully helps build sincere relationships.
In my free time I love practicing sports and engaging in activities both outdoors and indoors, like trekking and role-playing games. I love music and singing, taking photos, and discovering new languages and cultures.

Matteo (22):
I have a background in Intercultural Communication, which helped me develop strong communication skills, adaptability, and an awareness of different cultural contexts.
I speak Italian as my native language and have a good level of English, which I use comfortably in everyday situations. I am also studying Japanese and interested in improving it through daily practice.
I am reliable with practical tasks and comfortable with both following instructions and taking initiative when needed. I can help with general household activities such as cleaning, organizing spaces, and assisting with daily routines.
I enjoy learning by doing, but I also work well with clear explanations and instructions. I am comfortable with structured or repetitive tasks, and I am good at organizing work in a practical and efficient way.
I also enjoy simple social activities such as board games, role-playing games, and casual sports like ping pong or volleyball, which can be a nice way to share time and connect with others.


Giada (24):
I’m a native Italian speaker, with an English level of B2 and a Japanese level of N4. I enjoy planning and making work tidy: I organise tasks and schedules so things run smoothly, and when problems come up I look for simple, practical solutions.
I take commitments seriously, I respect schedules and rules and follow through on tasks with consistency. I adapt well to new contexts: when something is unfamiliar I prefer to observe first and then learn by doing.
I can help with daily chores, cleaning, simple meal prep, basic painting and other DIY tasks, and general support with childcare. I can propose and organise outdoor activities and walks, and lead indoor pastimes like board games. I love music and singing, so I’m happy to run a karaoke night, share playlists, or discover new artists together.
I’m also available for language exchange and practical, hands-on help. I like to be useful and to learn while I help.
