I am currently working at a private music studio in Marrakech Morocco. I am helping to produce a creative project for a local musician. I am willing to help others with their musical endeavors.

WHO am I?
I'm an American who's never lived in the U.S.
I'm 22, but I've been told I seem older.
I'm quiet, but I'm social and enjoy being around other people.
I'm chill, yet I'm very hardworking.
I'm into cats, especially, but I like all animals.
I'm amused by kids, but I'm more like a fun uncle who lets them run the show.
I'm honest, sometimes to a fault, and you can trust that I'll never be shady.
I'm into food, but I don't cook well. Sorry.
I'm good at cleaning because I prefer a tidy environment.
I'm usually a person of few words, so setting up this profile is a stretch for me.

WHAT is important to me?
Relationships: I have friends all over the world, some from as far back as elementary school, that I still keep in touch with and often make the effort to see in person. I have a brother, who's 5 years younger, and even though we're very different we're very close. I'm also close with my parents, who are both international school teachers (which is the reason I've lived in many places.)

Traveling: Even though I was born in The United states, I grew up in Hong Kong, graduated from high school in Nairobi, Kenya, and I am currently living and working in Marrakech, Morocco. Living in all these locations has allowed me to travel to places all over Asia, Europe, and Africa. I am very interested in learning about different cultures and it often comes as a source of inspiration to me.

Music: I began playing the upright bass in the fourth grade which offered me a really solid foundation In music. I then became interested in music production which encouraged me to take up other instruments such as piano and guitar. I played in middle school and high school bands and participated in high school music festivals. My dad's an audio engineer and so I became interested when I was 12 years old and eventually earned a diploma for Audio Engineering in Atlanta, Georgia in the winter of 2023. I now work at a music studio in Marrakech, Morocco.

Nature: From a young age I have always enjoyed being in nature. Living in so many different places has giving me the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful landscapes. From snorkeling in Thailand to hiking Mount Kenya, I've had the privilege to spend a lot of time in nature. Having lived mostly in cities, nature has provided an escape and has been a form of therapy for me.

WHY did I join WorkAway?
I currently have a job in a private studio in Morocco, but we're about to wrap up a project and I'll have freedom to explore other opportunities. I've been working here for a year and a half and, although I love Morocco, I'm getting restless and ready to see other places. I have a strong desire to hang out with other young musicians.

WHERE am I willing to go?
Almost anywhere! Although Europe seems to make the most sense at the moment, since it's close and accessible. I'm flexible and easy to have around, but I do need my own space at times. I'm especially hoping to help others with their musical endeavors, or just even jam, but I'm also more than willing to help with pets, housework, gardening, and I'm open to learning new tasks.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a very musical person, and have primarily played the piano, electric bass, upright bass, and guitar. I also have experience in music production, and got a diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Atlanta, Georgia. I have worked with various DAW's such as Logic Pro, Ableton, and Pro Tools. Currently I'm working at a private studio in Marrakech, Morocco. My job is flexible and provides the opportunity for me to travel and work with other musicians. I'm interested in helping people with recording projects and other musical endeavors.
