I am someone who is deeply curious about the world and about people. What motivates me most is learning through real experiences and human connections. As a student in International Development, I spend a lot of time studying social issues, cultures, and global challenges in class. However, I strongly believe that the most meaningful learning happens outside the classroom, through encounters, conversations, and everyday life.

Latin America has fascinated me for a long time. I am very interested in its cultures, history, and social dynamics, and I would love the opportunity to experience daily life there in a more authentic way. For me, traveling is not just about seeing places but about understanding how people live, think, and create community.

What brings me happiness is meeting people, exchanging ideas, and discovering different perspectives. I enjoy meaningful conversations, learning languages, and stepping outside my comfort zone. I am also someone who finds joy in simple things: exploring a new neighborhood, sharing meals with others, spending time outdoors, or helping someone learn something new.

Through Workaway, I hope to experience a true cultural exchange where I can both learn and contribute. I would love to help where I can, meet inspiring people, and discover the everyday life of a place that is new to me.

América Latina me ha interesado desde hace mucho tiempo. Me fascinan sus culturas, su historia y sus realidades sociales, y me gustaría mucho poder descubrir la vida diaria allí de una manera más auténtica. Para mí, viajar no es solo visitar lugares, sino comprender cómo viven las personas, cómo piensan y cómo construyen sus comunidades.

Lo que me hace feliz es conocer gente nueva, intercambiar ideas y descubrir diferentes perspectivas. Me gustan las conversaciones profundas, aprender idiomas y salir de mi zona de confort. También encuentro mucha alegría en cosas simples: explorar un barrio nuevo, compartir una comida con otras personas, pasar tiempo al aire libre o ayudar a alguien a aprender algo nuevo.

A través de Workaway espero vivir un verdadero intercambio cultural donde pueda aprender mucho, pero también aportar algo positivo. Me gustaría ayudar en lo que sea posible, conocer personas inspiradoras y descubrir la vida cotidiana de un lugar que para mí es nuevo.

English: Languages are very important to me and one of the main reasons I love traveling. I speak French and English fluently and I currently tutor both languages to students. I would be very happy to help others practice these languages through conversations, informal lessons, or activities with children. At the same time, I am very motivated to improve my Spanish. Spending time in Latin America is a wonderful opportunity for me to practice the language in everyday life and learn more about the culture that comes with it. For me, learning languages is not only about grammar, but also about connecting with people and understanding different ways of thinking. Español: Los idiomas son muy importantes para mí y una de las razones principales por las que me gusta viajar. Hablo francés e inglés con fluidez y actualmente doy tutorías de estos idiomas a estudiantes. Me encantaría ayudar a otras personas a practicar francés o inglés a través de conversaciones, pequeñas clases o actividades con niños. Al mismo tiempo, estoy muy motivada para mejorar mi español. Quais são suas habilidades?

English:
Although I am still a student and at the beginning of my professional path, I have developed several skills and experiences that I enjoy sharing with others. One of my main experiences is tutoring languages. I currently tutor French and English to students from different backgrounds, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. I enjoy helping others feel more confident in their learning and seeing their progress.

I would therefore be very happy to help with language practice, homework support, or educational activities with children or teenagers. I enjoy working with people and creating a positive and supportive environment.

I also grew up spending a lot of time in the countryside. My grandparents are farmers in France, and I regularly help them on weekends when I am there. Because of this, I am comfortable with physical work and with being outdoors. I enjoy practical tasks and I don’t mind getting my hands dirty.

Another important part of my life is horseback riding. I have practiced riding for many years and I hold my level five riding certificate. Through this experience I have learned discipline, responsibility, and how to work with animals. I feel very comfortable around animals and I genuinely enjoy taking care of them.

In general, I consider myself a responsible, curious, and adaptable person. I like learning new things, meeting new people, and contributing positively wherever I go.

Aunque todavía soy estudiante y estoy al comienzo de mi camino profesional, he desarrollado varias habilidades y experiencias que me gusta compartir con otras personas. Una de mis principales experiencias es el tutorado de idiomas. Actualmente doy tutorías de francés e inglés a estudiantes de diferentes orígenes, lo que me ha permitido desarrollar buenas habilidades de comunicación, paciencia y la capacidad de adaptarme a diferentes estilos de aprendizaje. Me gusta ayudar a los estudiantes a ganar confianza y ver su progreso.

Por esta razón, estaría muy feliz de ayudar con la práctica de idiomas, apoyo escolar o actividades educativas con niños o adolescentes. Me gusta trabajar con personas y crear un ambiente positivo.

También crecí pasando mucho tiempo en el campo. Mis abuelos son agricultores en Francia y cuando estoy allí suelo ayudarles los fines de semana. Gracias a esta experiencia estoy acostumbrada al trabajo físico y a trabajar al aire libre. Me gustan las tareas prácticas y no tengo problema en ensuciarme las manos.

Otra parte importante de mi vida es la equitación. Practico la equitación desde hace muchos años y tengo mi certificado de equitación de nivel cinco. Gracias a este deporte aprendí disciplina, responsabilidad y a trabajar con animales. Me siento muy cómoda con los animales y realmente disfruto cuidarlos.

En general, me considero una persona responsable, curiosa y adaptable. Me gusta aprender cosas nuevas, conocer personas diferentes y contribuir de manera positiva donde sea que esté.

One of my biggest passions is reading. I enjoy many types of books, from classic literature to modern fiction, and I love discovering new authors and ideas.

What I enjoy even more is discussing books with others. I can easily spend hours debating the themes of a novel, the ideas behind an essay, or larger social and philosophical questions. For me, books are not only stories but also a way to better understand society, culture, and the way people think.

I really enjoy thoughtful conversations and exchanging perspectives with people from different backgrounds.

Una de mis mayores pasiones es la lectura. Me gustan muchos tipos de libros, desde la literatura clásica hasta la ficción moderna, y siempre disfruto descubrir nuevos autores e ideas.

Lo que más me gusta es hablar sobre los libros con otras personas. Podría pasar horas debatiendo los temas de una novela, las ideas de un ensayo o incluso cuestiones sociales y filosóficas más amplias.
