Hey! Thanks for taking your time and checking out my profile. Hope to see you soon in real life :).

I love movement and I love nature! I've been in love with yoga and permaculture for quite some time now. This year I decided to take my passion for yoga to the next level and I just came back from Rishikesh in India where I was training to be a yoga teacher.

When I discovered the concept of permaculture I immediately got drawn to it. It felt like the answer to all of the tough questions I've been asking myself on how to live life with more fulfilment. It resonates deeply with my passion for nature and well-being . Starting from caring for land and animals, cooking healthy meals, making natural ointments and creating meaningful bonds with people.
I'm also a big fan of natural horsemanship and it fascinates me how working with those majestic creatures can give you a lot of insight into your own psyche. I'm always looking for ways to understand and better myself and my surroundings. I love cold exposure, meditation, breathwork. I'm not afraid of hard work and I thrive when being active(often by spontaneously bursting into dancing like no one is watching :D). I love feeding people and making them laugh with my silly sense of humour.

- Our rescuegirl No. 1!

Freja was our 1. Workawayer in 2024 and stayed here for almost 6 weeks, from mid May until end of June.

Up until Freja arrived here, we had been going through a very hard time. First losing Sorens dad in September 2023 and then Nynnes dad in March 2024. So WA was not the thing we had focus on, it was pure surrival.… read more Luckily it all worked out and Freja came and stayed... She was a very healing and understanding person, in the situation, so of course we could not let go of the gold. Nobody else could have done what this girl did. Especially being so understanding around Nynne`s recent loss. We have never had a WA for this long, and it only worked out because of... Well, Freja being the girl she is.

Obviously we were behind with practically every possible thing. But Freja helped us out, and was very happy that there were so many different tasks, since she likes to do new tasks, so things dont get to boring for her. Yep, she likes to try new things. The list she helped out with is endless, but some of the things:
Making firewood, tough one... Cooking, this girl can cook a meal out of almost nothing (fermented cocoa powder + frozen banana comes to mind here). Fixing up some woodfurnitures for the garden- sandpapering and oil afterwards. Of course weeding the garden- that was almost endless because it started raining in June- and didnt stop. Picking all the nice strawberries. Helping out w the horses- Freja was trying so hard to start a fatcamp, but it was like Moses at the Red sea, so Isa, Halfdan and Kathla still look like they swollowed a barrel- we will never hold that against Freja!
At some point we just took a very spontaneous trip to Sweeden, and Freja was housesitting. No problem!
She did all these tasks so well, only the woodchopping was maybe causing a bit of trouble, since it took so long to finish, and the weather didnt help at all!

Freja as a person? Well, if it wasn`t for her personality, she wouldn`t have stayed here for that long! We all had a ton of fun together! Sarcasm is very easy for us all! She`s a very openminded person. SO caring and understanding! We all had deep talks together, around our different life experience of all kinds.
She meet so many of our friends and family members and they all loved her. She melted into the household, lot`s of hugs and tears and laughter were shared, during the time we spend together here at the farm. It was like we were all healing a little bit during the weeks spend here together in Frejas company.
She likes to do her yoga in the morning ( THIS GIRL CAN DO A FULL SPLIT!!!) and also needs her privacy, so it was never "too much" to have her staying here. we had dinners together, some nights we watched a movie together, but most nights Freja went to her room and worked on her next stop in Copenhagen or read books. Freja did her own breakfast and lunch, since she`s got glutenallergy. So it was better that she just cooked what she could eat, instead of us trying to do something that would make it all wrong for her stomach. We were all very happy w this arrangement. Freja liked to try the wines Soren served to the dinners. That turned into more than one fun party during her stay here!
Her English is perfect, since she has done a lot of travel and lived in several countries, so no problems reg. communication.
Freja will be housesitting for us this October, when we go to Morocco for 2 weeks, and hopefully she will come around for the christmas celebration. She sure is invited!

Freja, this review can NEVER fully explain how much we enjoyed having you here, AND HOW MUCH WE MISS YOU. Only the 3 of us completly understand! We see you as a daughter of the farm, and you know the door and phone is always open! Please NEVER change! you are gold! Luckily you have decided to hang around Copenhagen for a bit, so you can easily swing up north. PLEASE DO! We will catch you no matter what happens, just like you catched us, when we were drowning!

This review has been brewing in my head for quite some time now but no matter how long I would think about it I don't think I would ever be able to convey how heartwarming and enriching my experience of… read more staying with those two gorgeous and magical creatures was!

I still remember the first time I read their profile and felt like that was the place I had to go to. Things didn't work out at first but in the end I was put on the path to their lovely farm.
The day I arrived I was welcomed by friendly smiles and warm hugs. First from Søren who picked me up from the bus station and then Nynne at their place. I looked around and I was mesmerized by the feeling of coziness you get when you're there. I met the poni...horses, the cats and the funniest chickens I've ever seen. They only look so charismatic and french when walking. But when they run, it's a show believe me!
Most of my tasks where around the garden which I really enjoyed and I was really grateful for. There was also this wood project that took approximately 5 years to finish and left me not being able to listen to one of my previously favourite songs anymore. Søren knows what I'm talking about!
But no matter what we were doing we always approached everything with humour and had lots of laughs!
I also was able to spend lots of time with the 3 viking fatties: Isa, Kathla and Halfdan! And me and Nynne tried our best to put them through a fat camp but I think at this stage we'll just have to accept them as they are.
Nynne and Søren are very caring and supportive. Even in the midst of tough life situations they're full of life and kindness. I still miss our cozy evenings in the kitchen or outside and our lovely conversations full of depth and laughter!
It was so heartwarming to bond with Nynne over similar experiences in the past and hear her stories about her dad who, I'm sure, I would've loved with all my heart if I met him.
I had so much fun dancing around the kitchen with Søren, tasting wine together and inevitably getting tipsy now and then. He's amazing at listening to people's stories and it feels very comforting to be able to be heard by him when speaking about emotional aspects of life. And he makes the best omelettes ever!!

While I was staying with them I was also looking for a place to stay and a job in Copenhagen and they were extremely supportive and went out of their way to help me out.

I also met with some of their family members and friends who are all so kind and fun to be around. Lise, Anne, Alice and dirty uncle Jasper! I really hope to see you all again!

There's so much more I could write about my stay there that I actually think I could write a book! There was no a dull moment and I don't think I've ever laughed so much like when I was with Nynne and Søren. Thank you so much for everything. I truly love you and consider you my family now. I hope that you know how grateful I am for all the time spent together!

And of course, I couldn't finish this review without mentioning the true heroes of the farm: Mogens, Billy(my favorite!), Knut and Elvis! I'm sure that cuddles with Mogens could heal a broken heart!

She is very compassionate and skillful. She works really hard and is very skilled. She is a good at communicating her needs and boundaries which makes it sp easy to interact and work with her
