Hey,

I’m Stijn from Belgium.
I’m very positive in life and always motivated to help and learn things.
I’m very adventurous and have made many trips far away.
I don’t have experience with workaway yet, but I hope that this will change soon. I have been living in my own house for 12 years so doing the housekeeping is not a problem for me.
I also cooked a lot of basics in the meantime. Everyone loves my scampi’s diabolique, pancakes and rice pudding. Hopefully you will too ... 😉
I’m very social and adapt quickly to other people and places.
I have a lot of patience and I’m very good with children. I’m already 2 times uncle of my brothers children.
I’ve been working at Volvo trucks for 19 years. As a secondary profession I worked for 10 years in the famous discotheque Kokorico as a bartender and waiter. I also worked as a plasterer for 3 years.
In combination with these jobs, I helped to completely rebuild my house and the house of my 2 brothers. With the help of a friend , I also created my own garden.
At this moment I’m helping 2 more friends with the renovation of their house.
At school I obtained my A2 diploma in commerce.
With evening school I obtained a diploma for placement of gyproc and plasterer.
So I have gained a lot of experience in my own country. I look forward to gaining even mooore knowledge, and why not abroad?
That makes the experience much bigger and more intense. Maybe I’ll visit you sometime, I‘m looking forward to it ... 😉
