Lindie: I was born in South Africa, where I spent several years living both on farms and in the city. I am an English and art teacher with experience teaching in South Korea, South Africa, and the Netherlands. For the past seven years, I have lived in the Netherlands, where I became a Dutch citizen.

I have a wonderful family, and we love spending time outdoors, going on adventures, and exploring nature together. Creativity is a big part of my life—I enjoy painting, drawing, working with clay, graphic design, and just about any artistic endeavor. I also find joy in reading, listening to music, and spending time with animals.

What motivates me most is being with my family in nature, helping others, and feeling connected to a community. These are the things that truly bring me happiness.

Joeri: Born and raised in the Netherlands. The first 18 years of my life I lived in Venray, a medium-sized town in the South of the Netherland. For my study physiotherapy I moved to the city of Utrecht, where I lived for over ten years, before moving to Amsterdam.
I consider myself priviliged in the oppurtinities I have gotten so far.

I have been working as a physiotherapist with a specialisation in oncology since 2018. Although I always loved to do this work I recently decided to end my registration. To spent more time with my family and making a careerswitch. What I gonna do next is not sure yet, I have a lot of intrest and I will use the time abroad/on work aways to also make some decisions for the future.


I love live and consider myself a lucky man with my family; my beautiful wife Lindie and son Khan.
But also my brothers, parents and even my grandparents (88-93).
My intrest are many, social issues, politics, nature, animals, health, fitness. I'm a loyal person and a hard worker and ready to help others.

I would love to learn more about farming, gardening and other languages. I'm an outdoor person, like to hike, mountainbike and other outdoor activities. After years living in cities I really feel it's time to spent more time in nature and workaway can make this experience even more special

Quais são suas habilidades?

Lindie: I am a qualified English and Art teacher with over 12 years of experience. In addition to teaching, I have experience supporting students in developing study strategies as well as enhancing their social and emotional skills.

Creativity is one of my strengths—I enjoy drawing, painting, and crafting with my hands. I also enjoy gardening and am eager to continue improving my skills in this area. Caring for animals is something I deeply enjoy, and I don’t mind getting my hands dirty when it comes to tending to their needs.

As a mother to a 4-year-old who is currently homeschooled, I love designing creative play activities to make learning engaging and fun. I also have experience working in a hostel, where I developed a knack for keeping things clean, tidy, and well-organized.

Joeri: skills related to health-care/physiotherapy : health education, personal- and grouptraining, treatment of injuries, massage, coaching.

I know my way around the house and garden with different tools. Also eager to learn and develop other (technical) skills.
