Energetic and empathetic Italo-Brazilian couple living in Italy and ready for new experiences!

Hello! We are LENON (38) and ÉLIDA (31), an Italo-Brazilian couple full of energy, empathy, and love for cultural exchange and meaningful experiences. We’ve been happily married for 13 years and, although we don’t have children yet, we share a deep passion for children, animals, nature, travel, and building genuine connections with people.

We are currently living in Piedmont, Italy, where we are having a wonderful first Workaway experience. This journey has been truly transformative — allowing us to learn about the Italian culture, language, and lifestyle while collaborating with dedication and joy.

I (Lenon) am a videomaker and photographer with 10 years of experience, as well as a certified electrician and welder (MIG/MAG and electrode). I hold Italian citizenship and have all the necessary documentation in order. I love using art and technical skills to connect people and tell inspiring stories through audiovisual work. I also enjoy cooking and sharing both Brazilian and Italian cuisine with those who appreciate good food and cultural exchange.

Élida has a degree in Business Administration and works as a Social Educator, with experience in educational activities, public service, organization, and administrative management. She is proactive, organized, and has great interpersonal skills — always bringing care, empathy, and attention to detail to every task.

Together, we have participated in humanitarian projects in Peru and Rio de Janeiro, where we collaborated with local communities and produced social documentaries, two of which were awarded at international film festivals. These experiences strengthened our passion for storytelling and meaningful work that connects people and cultures.

We are comfortable in rural or nature-based environments and are happy to help with practical tasks, gardening, cleaning, kitchen support, guest reception, or other daily activities. We also have our own car, which gives us full mobility to travel and work across different regions of Italy. Our Italian is still basic, but we are learning quickly and improving every week through daily interaction and immersion.

At this stage, we are looking for a paid opportunity in hotels, guesthouses, or agriturismos during the summer season, to continue our integration process in Italy — working with dedication and professionalism while recovering the investment from our relocation and continuing to build our life with purpose in this country we truly love.
