About Me :

Hi ! My name is Esteban. I'm a 21-year-old physics student from France, currently taking a gap year to explore, learn, and grow.
I'm naturally curious and always eager to discover new places, meet new people, and develop new skills.

I have many (many!) passions in life. I love sports like hockey, badminton, running, and working out. I'm also an artist at heart – I spend most of my free time drawing and painting.
On top of that, I enjoy cooking, reading, meditating, and walking in nature. Whether I'm being active or taking quiet moments to reflect, I try to live with intention and joy.


Why I’m on Workaway :

I’m using this year to explore the world – and also myself in the process. I'm looking to meet people from different cultures, share meaningful moments, and create real connections.

I’m calm, adaptable, and hardworking, and I’m always happy to help in any way I can. I look forward to contributing and learning through each experience ;)

Quais são suas habilidades?

One of my strongest skills is my ability to learn quickly. I genuinely love the process of learning and improving, which makes me a very adaptable and flexible person – comfortable in many different situations.

I’m in good physical shape and enjoy doing manual or physical tasks, whether it’s outdoors or around the house.
I also have artistic skills, especially in drawing and painting – creativity is a big part of who I am.

In the kitchen, I enjoy cooking (and eating!) tasty meals and cakes, particularly vegetarian dishes.

Finally, I consider myself emotionally intelligent and socially aware, which helps me connect easily with others and create a positive, respectful atmosphere wherever I go.

I’d say my core values are respect, love, and wisdom – I try to live by them every day, in how I treat others and how I approach challenges.

One quote I really like is : "Every problem hides an opportunity"
It reminds me to stay open-minded and look for growth, even in difficult situations.

A dream of mine is to one day open a cozy café, restaurant, hostel, or artistic space — a place where people feel truly welcome, free to express themselves, and connect deeply.

When it comes to life, I try to follow my heart and face my fears. I believe that’s the best way to grow and become a better person.
