Hola!

For much of my 20's I travelled around the Americas and volunteered on many different farms and eco-projects. For the last five years I've been living at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage in Missouri, USA. We are regenerating the native Tallgrass Prairie ecosystem and exploring ways of living in cooperatively and sustainably. In my daily life I raise cows and goats as part of a cooperative, work on various natural building projects, engage in ecological conservation work, work for an environmental non-profit (primarily helping fundraising), and cook twice a week for 10-15 people as part of a kitchen co-op.

I love to explore how people are living in different contexts and environments while helping out with whatever needs to be done. I'm happy to share knowledge, experiences, perspectives, and good times! I consider myself to be open minded, adaptable, diligent, and hardworking. I like to establish and stick to a routine in order to get settled in a new place

Right now, I'm interested in staying in a culturally vibrant urban area, as my I spend most of my time in the country side. I would also like the ability to work between 5-20 hours a week on my computer (though this is flexible).

Some other interests/hobbies of mine include hiking, camping, music (playing & listening), meaningful conversations, playing board games, mindfulness, nature based spirituality/wisdom traditions, cooking/eating, ecology, and anthropology.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have considerable experience with raising ruminants (cows and goats specifically), natural building (plastering, straw bale construction, very basic framing and carpentry), and landscaping/ ecological restoration work.

I'm used to cooking for groups of 10-15 people using wood fired stove. I know how to cook a variety of tasty and healthy meals which could include meat, dairy or be vegan

I'm a very flexible and hard worker, comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I pick up new skills easily and love to learn.

I can play guitar, drums and sing

I've been a camp counselor at an environmental summer camp leading or assisting with educational nature hikes, all sorts of activities (including wild crafting, mountain biking, primitive backpacking trips), worked a variety of customer service oriented jobs (waiter, instructor at a zip line park, lifeguard). I enjoy writing and could create content for a blog/website.
