My main drive in life is to live a purposeful life that does well for the planet and all those that inhabit it - I learn as I go and find my current politics is about aligning my life to my morals and values as much as possible. I'm an open, sociable person, I love to laugh and discuss it all. I need new experiences and people which is what draws me to Workaway; to find interesting projects and unique places. Other people and their knowledge inspires me but alone time is also important for recharging. Things are hard in normal society and connecting with people emotionally is really important to me - to be authentic and true often takes a lot of unlearning.

I've just completed a year long permaculture course that was taught holistically and was wholly transformative. Bringing my ideals more into the soil and my daily life.

I love music and movement, I love yoga and spirituality. I love cooking and eating. I love herbalism and food as medicine and vice versa. I also love writing, reading, storytelling and imagination. I love being outdoors and living in nature.

I want to learn Spanish, surfing, wood working and further my knowledge of permaculture by seeing it in different ways. I want to learn more about community/ off-grid living as I deeply believe in this way of life and love to see the many ways people all over are returning to the land.

I have experience in many areas of work through paid and unpaid experiences in many parts of the world in vastly different environments. This means I'm comfortable with change, with taking my own initiative and I'm someone who naturally goes with the flow.

Quais são suas habilidades?

- I've worked with children as a play leader and can connect well with kids.

- I’ve taught yoga before (for 3 months) and love it, but I’m not professionally trained.

- I love working outdoors, having worked on farms in Peru and Australia which included lots of manual labour.

- I have basic gardening experience including basic landscaping, making vegetable gardens and planting.

- I'm a quick learner and have some
basic woodworking experience (3/4 weeks) which I would love to expand on.

-I love to cook and enjoy working with great natural ingredients. I've volunteered in a large scale kitchen for almost 3 months.

- I'm a qualified Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) teacher.

- I have lots of hospitality experience of all kinds.
