Hello there,
We're a French couple starting a one year journey in New Zealand. We both just finished studying and needed to take a break to discover a new country, culture and spend time in the nature to do some manual work. That’s why we're here on a working holiday visa!
We’re looking forward to meeting new people and sharing time and experiences with hosts and other workawayers!

Quais são suas habilidades?
We're an enthusiastic and complementary duo. Elie is a relatively calm person, loves movies and board games, he’s a great cook and an animal lover. He likes hiking, cycling and is always there to lend a hand. Also, he has just finished his engineering studies. On the other hand, Héloïse needs to be always active, loves hiking, climbing, cycling, dancing, playing the harp and the piano. She studied social sciences, used to live one year in Finland, two years in Germany and travelled to many European countries during that time. Discovering new cultures and languages while travelling and taking care of the environment is not a passion but a way of life.

We're hard-working persons and it's a matter of concern to both of us to follow instructions and get the job properly done. We would be really grateful if you consider hosting us during our journey to give us a chance to contribute to local projects and get to know new people!

We really enjoyed spending time at Gudrun and John's peaceful place surrounded by the mountains and taking care of their sheep, alpagas and cats. We spent 10 amazing days with Hannah, Josh and Clem. There are a wonderful family, very welcoming, great cook and always happy to give some advice about what to do in the surroundings. Heloïse and Eli were excellent guests and helpers.
Eloise patiently worked at sanding a staircase in difficult conditions. Elie ground the walls and ceiling of our caravan in preparation for painting. Additionally they both willingly pitched in with whatever else was asked of them.

It was our first workaway experience in New Zealand and we couldn't expect better. Rachael is very comprehensive, flexible and always happy to help. We hosted Heloise and Elie in late January, they have a quiet demeanor and were very respectful house guests, willing to lend a hand and took on any task with a great attention to detail. Our old deck chairs look great now.
