Hello, I'm Ed, a 28 year old Welshman currently solo travelling New Zealand. I've been a self employed arborist for almost 10 years and have a great interest in the outdoors.

I'm looking to share my skills while seeing new places and learning new things. I want to learn about sustainable living, farming and building with a view to one day having my own land and being able to be totally self sufficient.

I love hiking and camping and seeing great views. I'm also a big fan of live music.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have 10 years experience in the arboriculture and forestry industry. I'm a highly proficient chainsaw operator and I'm proficient in using a lot of other tools and machinery, tractors and excavators etc. I've done a winter ski season in the French alps where I worked as an airport transfer driver and a chalet maintenance man doing all sorts of general jobs.

I have volunteered on sustainable building projects in the past including helping at an eco home in Wales and helping to build a straw Bale sauna in Estonia.

I'm very used to physical labour and hard work, not afraid to get stuck into any job.
