Hello! We are Dora and Shawn! Dora is from Hungary and Shawn is from the USA. We both have a love of travel, exploring new cultures, and trying new foods and beers! We are very eco conscious and try to have a sustainable, responsible and increasingly minimalistic lifestyle through recycling, cleaning up waste, composting, etc. We are both animal and nature lovers. Shawn grew up in Colorado and has always enjoyed hiking, climbing and being outside. Dora grew up in rural Hungary and has lots of experience with crops and livestock and Shawn learned much of this during his time living with her in Hungary. We have now spent almost 3 years in Australia and our time for the next stage of life is fast approaching.

We have had a blast traveling, exploring and working around this continent. Friendships and memories made will last a lifetime and we are hoping to add a few more before we say farewell Oz. We would love to join you in your home and learn about your family and way of life as we prepare to head home.

-Creative and somewhat handy
-Experience with animals, gardening, working with children
-Painted houses, lots of yard work, demolitions, builds, fencing, irrigation

Dora:
-Studied International Business Economics at university
- 4 years experiences as an accountant for large multinational
companies
- Can chirp like a chicken (it's crazy how real it sounds!)
-Volunteer experience at a coffee plantation in Thailand, English
teaching in Myanmar, children's home/camps in Hungary
-Speaks: Hungarian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese
-Loves to try out cooking new things!
-Experience with animals and gardening, big permaculture fan!

We love climbing, hiking, and being outdoors. Dora is a foodie and Shawn just likes to eat. Dora is a coffee lover and Shawn has turned Dora into a craft beer lover as well.

Shawn and Dora were both amazing. They would tackle anything and put their heart into it. Dora and I got to spend some special times in the kitchen preparing meals and she would whistle and sing. It was as if a little bird had flown into my life. Wished they could have stayed longer. Very precious couple and fun to be with. Recommend them highly!
