Hello everyone,

my name is Dominika and I’ve just finished my medical degree. After all those years of studying I decided to take some time off to travel, recharge and discover more about the world and myself before I start working in a busy hospital environment.

I’m hoping to absorb some of the world’s wisdom, find a bit of inner peace and connect with people from different cultures. I would love to learn how to cook traditional food from different countries, understand your customs and maybe even gain a new perspective on life.

I’m passionate about all kinds of sports and movement and although my background is in Western medicine I’ve always been deeply interested in alternative approaches—especially traditional Chinese medicine, herbalism and holistic healing.

Music has always been an important part of my life—whether it’s listening, dancing or singing badly around a campfire.

I never consider time spent learning something new to be wasted—whether it’s science, a self-soothing practice or a new skill. I believe every experience can shape us into better kinder people.

I hope to meet inspiring hosts and fellow travelers along the way and create memories worth sharing with my future grandchildren—especially the ones that will make me look like a cool grandma.

Quais são suas habilidades?

- childcare: I spent half a year in England with two amazing eleven years old twin- girls and a month in France with one 3 years old girl and her 1 year old brother

- summer camp instructor: since I was 15 years old

- animator: I worked in a kids club on Rhodes with FIRO-tour making program and taking care about children of all ages from all different countries

- lifeguard: as a medical students we´re trained in first-aid from the very beginning

- houseworks: gardening, cleaning, petcare,...

- IFMSA = International Federation of Medical Students Asociations: schooling public in first-aid, self-examination in prevention of breast/testicular cancer, visiting kindergarten with program to prevent kids from "fear of white coats", etc.
