It is Diego, I am a qualified Italian Architect. I am 33.
I left Italy in 2022 to come to Australia, Sydney, where I am actually living now.
I have been living and working in Sydney for the last 8 months.
It was an incredible work experience, even if I felt trapped and like I was wasting my life, so I promised myself that I would do anything to stop this feeling as soon as I was free to choose what to do with my life. And that is what I am doing right now!

Thus, now I am trying to follow another way and trying to find something different.
What an amazing opportunity I found over here! I spent a couple of weeks living with an Ozzie Family in Adelaide and then travelling all along East Australia.

During the years I made several jobs since I am quite flexible and ready to re-invent myself as needed;
I consider myself an Enthusiastic & reliable person ready for a new life challenge experience. I am thrilled by the idea of embracing new cultures & living with local families. I believe it could offer a unique perspective for discovering the local culture.


I hope to find myself and my goal in life through this experience.

Thus, I am a very passionate person and I am enthusiastic about learning and making it fun and exciting! I enjoy working with young children through to adults. I tend to get along with anyone. I enjoy lots of creative things: art, journalling, walks in nature, writing. I also enjoy keeping fit and eating good, wholesome food.

My academic background is broadly international with a lot of experience in tutoring. I won 2 scholarships of merit during my universities studies , and I used to be an academic during the University.I can offer my skills and passions as an Academic teacher, which includes my unique methods and ability to work one-on-one to tailor learning to the needs of the individual. I can also offer my flexibility and enthusiasm to grow and learn more about local culture.

It is Diego Ratti, I am an Italian Architect, and a passionate person for sustainable projects.

I would define myself as a passionate hard-worker, thirsty of knowledge as I constantly seek new challenges and goals to reach. I believe I have a curious mindset, leading me to search for information and explore multiple fields.

Over the last years I have been trying to open up my mind to different cultures and architectural styles and techniques, both in Italy and abroad:
I carried out workshop experiences in Beijing, Madrid and Budapest. I went to Ghana, as volunteer architect in a poor village in the rain forest.
Since my experience in Africa, I have been an activist in volunteering acts, International Civil service commitments, and life challenge experiences: I swam across Lake Como and I achieved alone my goal to complete the “Camino de Santiago”.
These experiences helped me to increase my “Mental Coach” Skills and they define myself as a Team Leader. I show I lot of respect for others. Good listening skills come naturally as I frequently like to understand others’ opinions before making a decision

I have always tried to open my-mind in cross-functional expertise. I designed a solar pavilion for the U.S. Solar Decathlon 2015, California. An off-grid module home recycling cargos.

Besides the professional records, I have always been involved in tutoring activities, since high school times. I can name a long collaboration with the online tutoring platform “Superproof.it”, with several commitments in teaching Scientifics subjects to high school and University students
I would like to propose myself to embrace a new kind of experience that could allow me to live abroad with a family. I consider myself an Enthusiastic & reliable person ready for a new life challenge experience. I am thrilled by the idea of embracing new cultures & living with local families.I believe it could offer a unique perspective for discovering the local culture.
