Good Day!


Hi, I am Ian a very responsible quiet, calm young adult looking for a different summer experience over the next two years. Basically, I would like to dive into Spanish, French and German the next 2 summers

I am super social, I play the piano, soccer, chess, anything sports I am willing to try!. I love to take my bicycle and go!!! I have two regular jobs in college, worked with kids at summer camps as a counselor. I know how to help with small children at home and chores. I am not a cook, never learned :) I can boil Pasta! Happy to help with housework, painting, weeding, farm chores etc. I work best with an assignment whether it changes daily or fixed :) unafraid to try/learn something new.

I also am an avid music listener (headphones always on my neck of one covering an ear while I work :)

I am really curious about all the sustainable eco and permaculture living offers I see on the Workaway site, a lot to learn about, my interest is piqued and I am ready to help.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Intermediate French, Fluent in Spanish, Swiss German, german and English. I want an immersive experience, language, culture food. I am a teen used to being placed in totally new environment and situations over long periods of time by mom :) I know how to listen attentively & follow directions.

Adaptable and eager to learn: Ready to try new things, especially if on a farm or outdoors. I am not afraid of something new because we know it creates the most memorable experiences and builds character.

Play and child care: Experience in being a sitter and camp councillor. I am a physical person. I play Soccer, Lacrosse, skateboard, cycler, skier, piano player and lover of classical music I am a calm, friendly teen, who love to laugh and values kindness.

With your children: Give us freedom or tell me what you would like done and we will be good to go!! I worked as camp counselor so lots of kids experience! Give me a slack line, bike, ball, water-hose, your kids and free space! Around your home, provide me with a task on the day and it will be completed.

I am also happy to learn with you on the farm, in the garden or run errands. I have a driver's license too or happily bike to the local store to get the groceries or fresh bread!
