After recently graduating highschool , instead of going to university I have decided to take a gap year to travel the world. This gap year represents a unique opportunity for self-discovery and personal growth. What truly motivates me is the prospect of gaining hands-on experience, delving into different cultures, and making meaningful connections with people from around the world. I believe that experiences hold the power to shape us in profound ways, and it's through these experiences that I hope to learn more about myself and the world we inhabit.

Happiness, to me, is found in the moments when I step out of my comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and push my boundaries. It's in the simple joy of exploring a foreign city, in the camaraderie of sharing stories with fellow travelers, and in the satisfaction of making a positive impact through volunteering or simply by being a responsible and respectful guest in your communities.

In essence, what motivates me during this gap year is the hunger for knowledge, cultural exchange, and the chance to contribute to the places I visit. I am eager to learn from you, to work alongside you, and to immerse myself fully in the experiences this year holds. It's not just about what I can gain but also about what I can give and share with others. I look forward to collaborating, learning, and growing with all of you.

Quais são suas habilidades?

As a recent high school graduate, I have embarked on a diverse range of experiences that have shaped my skills and perspective. My tenure as an Air Cadet instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and teamwork, qualities that I carry with me in all aspects of my life.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my time as an Air Cadet was the opportunity to teach and mentor younger cadets. This experience not only deepened my understanding of leadership but also allowed me to develop effective communication and teaching skills. Teaching kids at Air Cadets was a fulfilling experience that instilled in me a passion for education and mentorship.

In addition to my cadet experience, I have also delved into the world of retail by working at Rona (A home and industry building store), where I gained valuable insights into construction and home improvement. This role not only enhanced my customer service abilities but also deepened my understanding of construction materials, tools, and project management. It allowed me to interact with professionals and customers in the construction field, providing me with practical knowledge and a passion for the industry.

I'm passionate about exploring new places, connecting with nature, and savoring the beauty of sunsets. There's something truly magical about discovering new corners of the world, whether it's experiencing different cultures or simply appreciating the wonders of nature. I find solace in the tranquility of nature and the breathtaking moments when the sun paints the sky with vibrant colors during a sunset. Additionally, I have a love for sports, particularly soccer (football) and basketball. Engaging in these sports not only keeps me physically active but also provides a sense of excitement.
