Hello! I'm Daisy, 30 years old from the UK. I currently work in adult social care and am looking to take a career break. I have lived abroad before in France and in Japan and travelled a fair bit too. I am into music, hiking, nature and I'm a real foodie and a good cook.

I love to meet new people and see new places, have good conversation and learn more about the world and others. I have a degree in anthropology and enjoy debates and conversation with others. I have just completed a Masters in mental health social work. I enjoy fitness and wellbeing, hiking, walking, swimming. Generally keeping well mentally and physically. I used Work Away in 2022 before my Masters degree to travel in Sri Lanka which was a great experience, and a similar site for house sitting in a beautiful off grid, eco built home in Spain, Andalusia. In 2025 I'm looking to do more!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm a sociable person, good with people and a good listener, I work with vulnerable people, I have a lot of empathy.
I'm a good cook, I teach myself new recipes and challenge myself. I am particularly interested in south Asian cuisine as well as Italian, French, Spanish. But I'll always try new things.
I have a degree in anthropology and enjoy debates and conversation with others.
I have just completed a Masters in mental health social work.
I enjoy fitness and wellbeing, hiking, walking, swimming. Generally keeping well mentally and physically.
I speak French to a good working proficiency and lived there in Paris, Brittany and Montpellier for 1.5 years.
I lived in Japan, Kyoto for 6 months and love visiting new places long enough to feel like at home.
