Descrição

We are a mature couple, hard working and motivated. interested in organic and sustainable ways of life. Eating healthy and nurturing our bodies from the inside out is really important to us, we eat a vegetarian diet.

We both enjoy yoga and are quite spiritual but not religious. We love to be outdoors, hiking, cycling and general appreciating nature.

Jade:

I love helping people and being a service to others.
I recently served at a Vipassana meditation centre, my role was head chef. With the help of the other volunteers we cooked healthy vegan food for 250 people every day. This was an amazing experience for me.

I have worked for many years with adults with mental health and learning disabilities, supporting them to live as independently as possible and achieve their dreams and goals.


For the past 6 years, I have worked at a specialist holiday company to lead holidays for vulnerable adults to visit new destinations both in UK and worldwide. For now its low season for my job, my opportunity to travel before I return to work.

I love to cook, hike, cycle, yoga and meditation.
In the past I volunteered in Kolkata at the Mother Teresa Missionary for the homeless and those in need. I found this experience rewarding to both myself and the community.

Neil:

I quit full time work at 39 to enrich my life with travelling and to have my own personal free time. Have always loved animals and spent time volunteering at an animal rescue where we rehabilated hedgehogs and found new homes for abandoned cats. I now work on some holidays with Jade for the specialist holiday company which I find very rewarding.

My previous work was in civil engineering where I was a Project Manager. After quitting work I used my construction skills to renovate three properties. I'm very handy and love having project to build! With jade's creative input I've recently finished converting a van into our dream campervan and we love exploring in it.

Similar to Jade, I also love to cook healthy food, learn new skills and different ways of living other than the routine 9 to 5. I'm a keen trail runner and cyclist and now enjoy slowing down on a walk since we started learning about foraging.
