Hey
I'm Qian, a 27-year-old female from China. I speak Mandarin and English (IELTS 7.5).
I have been traveling and volunteering for two years:)
What I have done and am interested in:
*farm and construction: don't mind getting hands dirty; can do labor; living in the nature and hiking
*hospitality: reception, waitress, housekeeping
*language training: teaching English, preparing students for IELTS tests
*homestay: babysitting, living family life, socializing, promoting for tourism, community

Learning different cultures and getting in touch with people are fascinating to me. I study sociology and anthropology in university and enjoy getting immersed in local cultures. I'm quite adaptable and go with the flow.

Quais são suas habilidades?
*Hospitality. I worked at a hostel in Bangkok for one month as receptionist and waitress. Paid work at an ecotourism hotel in Albania for three months( until the season ends). I serve meals, make coffee, check in guests,clean bathrooms, chop vegetables for dinner and take care of everything around the hotel.
*Teaching English. My IELTS score is 7.5 and I enjoy communicating with others.
*Babysitting. I have experience in a day care center and several families overseas.I get on well with kids and I’m the favorite of my nieces. I really like playing with them and taking care of them.
*I'm willing to do construction projects and farmwork. I can do labor and get works done with instructions. If there is tedious and repetitive work which nobody likes, let me get it done while listening to podcasts :)

It's unique experience to work at this big farm owned by a South African couple in Georgia with other volunteers (sounds as international and mixed as it is). I stayed here for two weeks and find Ipoh quite a chill town. It’s surrounded by beautiful hills and the city center has many nice old buildings.
