I love to explore and experience new things. I love a good adventure and being outdoors is a top priority for me. So outdoor adventures like hiking, trail running, a swim in the sea and exploring nature is what I love best.
I'm married, and we live in a beautiful tiny farm cottage in Stellenbosch, with our border collie dog.
We are very people-orientated and love seeing our families close by and community of friends and church.
I am joining my wine-maker husband to go to France for 3 months. While he undertakes a grape harvest on a wine farm in St Emillion, I am looking to explore different cultures and people and keep myself busy.
I myself am a dietitian by profession and like to help people with what I do. I am a very hard worker and dedicated to what I set my hands on.
I am active and fit and enjoy a bit of physical labour. I am keen to learn new things and develop skills, such as gardening, eco-farming, building and maintenance. We have enjoyed undertaking a few DIY projects back home. I love to grow foods that we eat and to live sustainably. My dream one day is to live on a farm of our own.
On the creative side, I love cooking and baking and eating it too! I play piano, enjoy a bit of drawing and I love dancing of several kinds.

Fast games rather than slow games like Speed and Dutch Blitz, but I also enjoy Catan (I can get quite competitive if it's a game I enjoy, so watch out),
Reading outside on the grass when it's warm,

Rooibos tea (the best South African tea you get in my opinion!),
And doing something adventurous on the spur of the moment (every now and then because I'm usually a planner),
And lastly, I love dark chocolate!
