Dear Workaway-host,
in 2022 I started my moneyless enterprise "How Can I Help". My purpose is to offer assistance wherever needed, to whoever asks for it. Do you have something broken needing repair? Is your garden too big for your two hands? Does your aunt need attention? Just ask me. If it's something I can do you can count on me.
What's the motivation behind this plan? In over 50 years I have built quite some experience (like everybody does). In regular jobs I just can't fully express myself, there's always a moment that I don't feel the exchange work/money works. What really counts in life is to be there for others. "Service as an art of being" is my slogan. How would the world be if everybody gave some of her/his wisdom, energy and knowledge to others, without expecting anything in return...
So I left The Netherlands in my blue van with my small dog Pip. I'm meeting wonderful people, working my ass off at one moment, exchanging thoughts and sharing a meal at other moments.
Well...how can I help YOU? I'm coming to your region soon, my agenda is still blanco. Tell me what kind of help you need, when and for how long. I don't need anything in return, just hope you will be inspired and offer your help wherever needed, to whoever asks for it!

PS: Last autumn I broke my foot and unfortunately I can't do as much as I could before, but I am still following my dreams. Recently I started a new project from my van. I'm writing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in tiles made of clay. So if I can't help you 5 hours in a row, I'll take a brake and make some art. And will be back soon ;-)

What can I do for you?
Well... just ask me! I have experience in quite a lot of different tasks, from household and childcare to building houses and starting social projects. I have lived for many years on the countryside in Brazil and know how to deal with simple life. I'm in for learning more!

She stayed with me for a week in May with her van. It was a test for her to embark on a longer journey. It gave her a chance to perfect her van and see if everything would go well on a long trip in August.
Anne was very pleasant to deal with. She helped me in the garden and cooked occasionally when I was busy.
