Hi! My name is Cecilie 🇩🇰

I quit my office job in the beginning of 2022, and have been travelling/workawaying since (somehow years passed by). I've primarily been working at farms, on boats and doing renovation projects

After having done the whole "a degree and a career"-thing for a bit, I'm now on my journey to discover what I should do next for a living. Meeting new, cool people and widening my perspective through Workaway has definitely made a great impact

As a person I’m calm and down to earth and not delicate. I strive to be genuine, kind and respectful in my interactions with others, and I enjoy talking to people and getting to know them, while I also appreciate my quiet time to recharge myself

I'm currently doing a paid lambing job in Lofoten, but don't hesitate to reach out, whether you're a host or workawayer 💪🏻

Quais são suas habilidades?

FARM WORK
1,5 years experience from farm work has giving me great knowledge about daily farm operations, mostly focusing on:
- Helping in the lambing season; Monitoring ewes, assisting with births, and ensuring the survival and health of newborn
- Daily care of horses; feeding, grooming, and exercising horses
- Maintenance and installations of fences
- Driving tractors (new and old) and havesting fields

RENOVATION WORK
Basic carpentry skills and very comfortable using tools (grouting, painting, and repairing structures)

PERSONAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- Helpful and eager to learn
- Happy to organize and make systematic order, and I enjoy optimising and creating efficiency
- Physically strong and healthy

IT SKILLS
- M.Sc. in IT-Management
- Mapping, developing and opitmising all types of processes
- Creating and ensuring alignment and transparency in teams
- Documentation, task management and workshops

I'm very interested in fishing and hunting, and I really enjoy winter bathing, weight lifting, live music, reading and racer cycling. I also like hiking, sleeping in a tent and starting a bonfire. Right now I’m dreaming of building or renovating my own simple cabin by the mountains somewhere in the north. I appreciate the nature and how it shows its colours in all of the seasons (I do like the snow a lot though). Being near the ocean or by mountains is my preferred place to be
