Hello,
I’m Cassandra, 18 years old and I’m from Germany.
I’m staying in Japan till the end of December and in that time I want to see as much from Japan as possible. I want to explore the Japanese culture and learn new things.
I graduated 2025 and now want to for fill my dream of traveling Japan. In Germany I live with two dogs, two cats and some chickens. Because of that I know how to take care of animals and clean up after them. I also have some experience in child care because I volunteered for a year in a generational home where I worked with children.
In my free time I play volleyball and play some instruments.
I hope to get to know a loft of new people and learn new things.

I’ve lifed with different animals my whole life, so I know how to take care of them and clean up after them.
I also got some experience in childcare because I volunteered in a generational home with many children.

A wonderful experience with Tony, Crosby, Rosie & Tom

I had a really great experience staying with Tony and looking after Crosby, Rosie and Tom. From the beginning, everything was easy and comfortable, and I honestly wish I could stay longer!

Tony is very friendly, kind and helpful. Even though he works late, he always made sure I was doing well … read more and was available if I needed anything. I was busy with my college applications during my stay. The apartment was a perfect place for me to have some quiet time to focus and get my applications done while also having some company.

I also mentioned to Tony that I play a specific sport, and he told me he knew a team and gave me a contact and made sure everything worked out. I ended up training with them once, and it was such a lovely experience! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to go again because I was very busy with my college applications, but I really appreciated Tony making that connection for me. It was a great opportunity to meet people and experience something local that I probably wouldn’t have found on my own.

The pets are all absolutely lovely. Crosby is such a gentle giant and one of the nicest dogs I’ve met. He is very friendly, well-behaved and easy to take care of. Taking him for walks was always something I looked forward to. Rosie and Tom are both very sweet cats, and Rosie especially loves cuddling and getting attention. I really grew attached to all three of them and will definitely miss them!

The work itself is very easy and doesn’t take very long. Taking Crosby for walks, looking after the cats, cleaning their litter box and keeping the apartment tidy are all very manageable tasks. If you like animals, you will really enjoy staying here.

The apartment is also a lovely and peaceful place to stay, and Kumamoto is a great area to explore. There are plenty of things to see and do, while it also feels more peaceful and less touristy than some of the bigger cities in Japan.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend staying with Tony. If you love animals, want to experience a different side of Japan, or simply need a comfortable and peaceful place to stay for a while, I can highly recommend staying with Tony.

I’m very grateful to Tony for having me, and I hope I get the chance to see him, Crosby, Rosie and Tom again someday! :)

Cassandra stayed at my place for about a month and it was a great pleasure hosting her. She became a very close friends with my dog and cats and well took care of them.
