Hello! We’re Paul & Carina – an open-minded, active, curious, and slightly creative-chaotic duo who love exploring new places and connecting with people.

About us:
We’re a friendly couple from Germany who enjoy living and working with others, learning new things, and becoming part of everyday life wherever we go. We love good conversations, shared meals, laughter, and moments where people come together.

Carina

Carina is a positive, open-hearted person who enjoys yoga, spending time with animals, cooking healthy vegetarian meals, and doing creative projects like crafting or painting.

She works as a pedagogue and also helps voluntarily with children and teenagers with physical or intellectual disabilities. It’s a meaningful part of her life, but she prefers to keep things simple and down-to-earth.

Carina speaks German (native), English (fluent) and Spanish (fluent). She studied in Sevilla for a semester, where she discovered her love for the Spanish language and culture.

Paul

I’m the sporty half of this team – always up for cycling, running, or pretty much any ball sport (football, basketball, volleyball… if it bounces, I’m ready). I enjoy cooking, taking care of our small city garden back home (with tomatoes, berries, figs & more), and connecting with people through games, conversation, or shared activities.

Together with Carina, I like trying out creative projects – whether the final result looks like a masterpiece or a “beautiful mess” is always open to interpretation, but we have a lot of fun doing it.

Professionally, I work in German tax law, which means I’m used to being organized and precise. I’m not a natural handyman, but I learn quickly and enjoy helping wherever I can.

¡Hola! Somos Paul y Carina: una pareja abierta, activa, curiosa y un poco creativamente caótica a la que le encanta descubrir nuevos lugares y conectar con personas.

Sobre nosotros:
Somos una pareja de Alemania a la que le gusta vivir y trabajar con otras personas, aprender cosas nuevas y formar parte de la vida cotidiana allí donde estemos. Disfrutamos de las buenas conversaciones, las comidas compartidas, las risas y cualquier momento que reúna a la gente.

Carina

Carina es una persona positiva y cercana. Le gusta practicar yoga, pasar tiempo con animales, cocinar comidas vegetarianas saludables y realizar proyectos creativos como manualidades o pintura.

Trabaja como pedagoga y también colabora como voluntaria con niños y adolescentes con discapacidades físicas o intelectuales. Es una parte importante de su vida, aunque prefiere contarlo de forma sencilla y sin exageraciones.

Carina habla alemán (nativo), inglés (fluido) y español (fluido). Estudió un semestre en Sevilla, donde descubrió su amor por el idioma y la cultura española.

Paul

Yo soy la parte más deportiva del equipo: siempre listo para salir en bici, correr o unirme a casi cualquier deporte con pelota (fútbol, baloncesto, voleibol… si rebota, ahí estoy). También me gusta cocinar, cuidar nuestro pequeño jardín urbano (con tomates, bayas, higos y más) y conectar con la gente a través de juegos, conversaciones o actividades compartidas.

Junto con Carina, disfruto probando proyectos creativos. El resultado a veces es una obra de arte… y a veces un “bonito desastre”, pero siempre nos divertimos.

Trabajo en el ámbito del derecho tributario alemán, así que estoy acostumbrado a trabajar de forma organizada y precisa. No soy especialmente manitas, pero aprendo rápido y me gusta ayudar en lo que pueda.
