Hello beautiful workaway community!

My name is Camila and I will tell you a little about myself.

I am 30 years old, I was born and raised in Argentina, in the small city of Las Varillas, Province of Córdoba.

In 2012 I went to the big city to study law and graduated in 2020. During my stay in Córdoba for my studi09es, I actively collaborated with the rescue of stray animals, sheltering approximately 20 animals in my apartment, helping me in this beautiful task. by my faithful dog companion Owen.

In 2021 my trips abroad begin, starting with Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Portugal.

I worked as an Au Pair with three different families, 3 months in Spain, 1 year in Switzerland and 4 months in Germany. Absolutely all of them have been incredible experiences, taking care of children from 1 year to 12 years old.

In 2022 I moved to Berlin where I worked as a housekeeper, customer service and customer service at a Mexican food truck. During this time I lived in a hostel for about 3 months, I met people from many countries, I shared many stories and laughs, it was one of my best adventures.

In 2023, through workaway, I moved to the Azores islands, Portugal, (a paradise for lovers of marine life and nature), where I worked as a waitress and kitchen assistant for an entire summer. Living there was magical, I met a lot of people, I fell in love with life on the island. I learned to do yoga, meditation and my love for road cycling began. Sharing with my coworkers was great and my hosts always made me feel at home. =)

I am currently living in New Zealand until February 2025. Here I have worked as a waitress, restaurant hostess and bartender. I now work as a barista assistant in a coffee shop full time, so my skills are growing a lot.
My idea for the rest of the year is to see another part of New Zealand and continue growing in my skills as a barista and FOH.

I am a very loving and sociable person who also enjoys his alone time and privacy. I am in love with life and movement, I love learning new skills (I will always put all my energy into learning), I am responsible with work and very active.
I like to be on the move and do physical activity. Although you can also find me reading or writing =)

This traveling world has taught me to be grateful for each new destination and each person who comes to illuminate it, to learn with love and patience and to know that life is just that, movement and learning.
I will be happy to learn with you and pass on what I know to you.

Thanks to the workaway I have learned a lot and I am sure that I will continue to do so, I am looking forward to knowing what is coming.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Mi idioma es el Español y seria muy feliz de poder enseñarte!
Puedo hablar ingles con fluidez pero todavia no soy perfecta en el idioma, sigo cometiendo errores de pronunciacion (nada que con mas practica no se pueda mejorar)

Me encanta cocinar, puedo hacerlo para muchas personas a la vez, puedo encargarme de la comida para un grupo grande de invitados sin mucho estrés, me gusta mucho hacer malabares con pelotas para relajarme, salir a trotar y practicar deportes en equipo para generar vinculos y jugar ajedrez (no soy nivel experto) pero puedo dar batalla =)
