Hi! I'm Antoine BERTIN, a 25-year-old French guy currently living in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Until recently, I was working full-time as a construction project engineer in the building industry. But I decided to quit my job to offer myself 3 months off and go on an adventure abroad. Life’s too short to ignore the call for purpose and discovery.

I’m deeply passionate about health in all its dimensions — nutrition, movement, breathwork, and natural healing. My dream is to become a naturopath and help people improve their physical and mental well-being. Starting this September, I’ll be working at 60% to give myself more time to focus on that path. In the meantime, I work as a freelancer, sharpening my skills and sharing valuable content about health, cold exposure, breathing, and nutrition.

Sport is also a big part of my life — it’s vital to me. I regularly practice running and strength training, and I’m passionate about outdoor sports like hiking, skiing, trail running, trekking and bivouacking. I also love the ocean and enjoy sailing and surfing whenever I get the chance — although it’s harder to practice these from where I currently live.

I’m currently training in the Wim Hof Method, learning how to master the fundamentals of human physiology through breath and cold immersion — a powerful way to reconnect with the body and inner strength.

My goal for this journey is to meet inspiring people, pause and reset my rhythm, and learn meaningful and useful skills in new environments.
I actually did a Workaway 5 years ago in Canada and it was an amazing and transformative experience. I’m super excited to do it again now, with new intentions and energy!


What I can offer

🎥 I’m into video editing and vlogging, and can help with content creation or social media

🏕️ I used to work as a summer camp leader for several years — so I’m comfortable in group settings and love collective energy

Quais são suas habilidades?

I live in the countryside since my youngest age, I live in a house with a plot of five square miles. So I usually cut the lawn with a lawn tractor or a duster. I also take care of maintaining hedges. I could put my experience to your benefit and help you maintain your garden.
With my family, we cut trees every winter to get warm. We move the wood to the wheelbarrow, split it, and then put it away. I could also help you in this area if necessary.
Always in the field of wood, I am a construction enthusiast. It puts frequently to realize personal projects of construction in wood. For example, garden sheds, a chicken coop, a wooden structure for bodybuilding, and finally my most beautiful realization a skate park. However, these experiences allowed me to learn how to handle many construction tools, such as the hammer, the screwdriver, the jigsaw, the circular saw, the shovel, and the pickaxe.
So I would be happy to help you and participate in the realization of one of your construction projects.
I also have a BAFA, diploma that allows me to supervise young people during summer camps. In all, I realized 12 weeks of supervision in my life which allowed me to gain autonomy during all these trips. Maturity and evolution in the management of responsibilities.
